I have nothing negative to say about tortoiseshell boxing. I have attended a few events at this location and each time it has been a positive experience. The hosts are organized, they keep the facility clean and the bathrooms are functional (lol). Do the shows get packed? Sure! That’s because they host great shows.

I’ve been to 3 events here! Joe the owner has always been polite and professional!!I’ve never been to an event that went perfect…. It’s part of boxing unfortunately!! Things happen and people don’t show up or drop out last minute. NOT THE EVENT HOST FAULT!!!I’ve had great experiences here win or loose!!! We will continue to support and compete…. Can’t win them all. They have great coaches and amazing athletes!!! Don’t take my word for it or anyone else’s GO CHECK THEMOUT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Just walked out of this place. This event was a joke. Clearly not for the kids, just there to make money. Poorly put together. Owner was just a complete jerk and was cussing everyone out.

Went to the Capital Rumble event hosted by this gym and was so disappointed. The owner was ridiculously rude to everyone and caught him multiple times cursing at his mom. Don't know much about boxing and he clearly doesn't either because his fighters somehow "won" when they clearly lost. Heard some people talking about other fighters coming to fight and somehow were replaced and not even given any notice or explanation why they weren't able to fight. Will never come here again.

I parked across the road because I wanted to check the place outThe owner came out minutes after I parked and started yelling at me and threatening me. I told him I would leave but he continued to flex and tell me we are going to have problems. Threats of violence is illegal and unexceptable. I left promptly and curtiously I do the maintenance on the lawns of del paso and the neighborhood

Don't ever waste your time coming here for any sort of competition. It's rigged even with a confirmed fight and traveling from out of town the owner did things his ways and removed kids off his roster to make sure his fighters would get the fights last minute. The owner would just blame the officials and not even face the fighters or their coaches. His mom was so nice and all he did was curse at her and everyone around him that wasn't doing what he wanted. This event was all just for money. Don't come here save your time and money and go anywhere else than here!!!! Never again!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Went Saturday to watch my grandson fight. The owner was rude and cussing, he let around 300 people in the gym. The gym lacked air conditioning and people were all piled up in the entrances. It was the most horrible experience we had. My question is who was there to regulate the safety of thethe viewers? They just wanted to pack the building and make money, they didn't careabout our safety.

It’s an awesome facility filled with hard working people dedicated to teaching and learning boxing. The Coach makes you feel like family and he’ll help you try to become a fighter or get into the best shape you’ve been in.
