If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Hardly had time to use my membership so I decided to cancel. Go in and cancel and I'm charged early cancellation fee. Cool, whatever. But then I was still billed for the next month. When I called there were only excuses as to why they couldn't retract the fraudulent charge

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had with any gym! I wish I could give everyone of them a 0 rating!!!! There was one employee there that had my back and I’m guessing the manager (above all) that really sat on the phone with me for like 45 min and explained to Complications to me. I really appreciated that he then promised me a month free and when I called up there today I got told I was “20 so “ when I said I was a very busy person and had two babies worked 6 to 7 days a week! ALL I WANTED WAS TO TALK TO THE MANAGER I TALKED TO LAST MONTH! MIND YOU I HAVE TO CALL ABOUT 30 times before I could talk to him. Then staff is so rude besides the 1 and himself! The assistant manager is a 35 year old joke. He wanted to try and talk over me and make a problem that wasnt there and had to raise my voice at him to get him to even shut up. Wouldn’t give me corporate‘s number and just hung up after I asked... I had to call the planet fitness back home to get it. I’ll never feel comfortable there and they have definitely Ruined it for me. Been lied to over and over again. Thank you to the one manager and one employee that was the only nice ones! Corporation said they ( San Angelo gym )were immediately going to call me back and they were good about getting things handled something but have yet to get a call. Tomorrow I’ll be calling corporate agin.. definitely a let down

The gym is very clean, the staff is friendly, there is a large selection of equipment, the equipment is in good working condition. Every one minds their own business. The locker rooms are nice and clean. Highly recommended!

One of the worst gyms ever. Front desk guys don’t even know what rules they are talking about. Been a member since couple of months but decided to cancel today. Wanted to give zero stars but there is no option.

They've created a gym environment for people who want to feel good about going to a gym, but don't actually want to work out. It's clean, cool, and great if you don't already have a treadmill at home. Stangly, I've been to Planet Fitness gyms all over the U.S. and this one is the only "old lady" version I've come across.

This gym is great for basic beginners for working out. They have a ton of cardio machines, a dedicated ab workout room, a dedicated 30 minute workout room, and a stretch area. Not a ton, but decent amount of machines in the middle. A small free weight area that is only 60lbs or less, a few cable machines, and a few free weight racks. They have a "spa" that has tanning and massaging. The gym is usually always clean, locker rooms are nice, showers for the most part we're clean but they let it get away a few times. They lack classes, a pool, saunas, and anything over 60 lbs. It was a great gym for me for cardio but that's about it.

I love the facilities. But when you advertise a dress code you need to enforce that dress code. I go to the gym 3 times a week and at least 2 of those visits I see girls wearing little to nothing but a sports bra. One time ther was someone only wearing a sports bra no cover up. The dress code is a huge reason I joined Planet Fitness. Please start enforcing the dress code!!!

On February 9th I went into the gym to work out and was told that I could not use my hanging abb equipment to work out my lower abbs. The staffmember told me that i could not leave it on the floor so I had to stop my workout and put in my car. Furthermore, another staff member told me that I was not allowed to grunt when I was pushing myself to failure on triceps press downs. The only way to loose weight and build muscle is too work out hard and I thought it was rude of her to interrupt me in the middle of my set, She could have at least waited on till I was done with my set to let me know that there is no grunting allowed. If you consume 3500 calories a day you put on 1 pound of body fat and if you burn 500 more calories than you consume you loose 1 pound of body fat so you have to work out hard to get in shape. Planet fitness says that they don't judge people but they make fun of bodybuilders by calling them names because they carry a gallon of water around in the gym and wear tank tops. If you want to get in shape and loose weight you should consume a gallon of water a day and stay away from sugars like soda. In addition, Planet fitness does not have any free weight flat bench, incline bench, decline bench, leg press, hack squats, or squat racks, Furthermore, Planet fitness dumbbells only go up to up to 60 pounds which is not enough weight to make any gains. I would not work out at this gym and would not recommend anybody to work out at this gym especially when they feed pizza and tootsie rolls to their members when they finnish their workout, If you want to get in shape you should get a membership at HEROS Gym the staff is awesome and doesn't tell their members that there isn't any grunting allowed. Furthermore, the staff doesn't expect the members to clean the equipment because they understand the needs of their members and that is what makes this gym GREAT.Dave

I love this place. You work at your own pace. No one bothers you. No muscle heads strutting around. Its clean. Its cool, littereally cool!! Its not a sweat box like some gyms. Ammenities are nice, and private. Plenty of equipment no matter hiw busy! The staff is nice and present. The clientele is conscious of rules and requirements. Awesome place!!!!
