North County Gymnastics and the Gyminny Kids

Attended a Birthday party here and my son had a blast! Only suggestion I have for owners/staff is to not just march the kids off without telling the parents what’s happening. We arrived and within minutes 2 people we had never met wearing costumes started waking my child away from the room/us into the gymnasium. Most parents just let it happen but I followed and was told no parents allowed and we could watch upstairs. I had no chance to tell my 4yo child what was happening, who they were going with, where I would be and if they needed me, what to do or who to tell. I finally caught up with my child and was able to tell them what was going on. We’ve been to many Birthday parties before and never experienced anything like this. Everything seemed ok but honestly I felt uneasy the entire time and still do. This could have been avoided if the staff at check in told us what was going to occur or in bold print on waiver or something. At one point we could no longer see our child from upstairs as the staff took them to the bathroom. WTH? Some random staff taking my child to bathroom without telling us. Way too young of a child (3-5yo’s) for this to be happening. After the bathroom incident, I stood on other side of wall so I could see my child and was told I was blocking the walkway and had to go in our room or upstairs. Not ok. It’s one thing to take your child to a weekly class there and understand the dynamic/gymnasium rules/staff, but we were a first time family attending a Birthday party. Suggest consideration in changing your approach, especially with young kids and at least letting parents know what’s happening, staff introducing themself, etc. Thank you!

I love North County Gymnastics. They have a legitimate training gym for kids and a wonderful viewing area for the parents. My twin girls have hyper-mobility and some sensory issues and the staff has been more than accommodating with helping them being successful in their classes. I highly recommend for parents getting their kids introduced to gymnastics.

My son has been enrolled in Ninja class and half day camps few days a week. And he LOVES it! Great place for kids to be active, happy and have fun.

My kid was a Poway Gymnastics team girl for several years and we were definitely scared of transitioning to NCG Gymnastics but all has been well! Outstanding staff, wonderful atmosphere and what a great makeover! I'm certain my kid will continue here for many years to come. Thanks NCG!

My daughter 4yr likes the gymnastics class, my son 6yr likes more another facility in Santee, but this is closer to our home.On the other hand, my first Time here I parked across in a wrong spot and did not know. Marissa the supervisor came out yelling at me very rude. I had a conversation with her 30 minutes later and she didn’t really apologize and tried to excuse her self how frustrated she was with people parking there. I understand her frustration, but no reason to take it out on me and stay proud and careless.

My daughter (3yr old) attends the village learning at Gyminny Kids and we love it! She adores her teachers Ms.Mo, Ms. Alexis & Mr.Stephen. She’s made great friends. The curriculum is fantastic, my daughter is learning so much. She just came home telling me all about the continents! Let’s not forget the integration of gymnastics class is her favorite activity of the day -she’s already learned a handstand. We feel very lucky to have found the village learning at Gyminny kids. Thank you for all that you do!

Today was my daughter’s first day and she had a wonderful time! This half is so friendly and fantastic!

Great place that will grow with your child. Very hands on. Plenty of instructors so no child feels left out. My niece is so excited and looks forward to it every week. She is 4 and a handful. They make it look easy.💚 …

My daughter has been joining this gym class for over one year. She likes it so much!!! The coach is nice and has practice. We will continue our class and enjoy the fun.

My daughter loves her experience here. All I hear about at home is how she can't wait for gymnastics. The coaches are phenomenal and they treat the kids as if they were their own. I have seen such an improvement in my child thanks to gyminny kids. Hands down, the best gym you could send your child to.
