WARNING: MOLD!I noticed an itch in the back of my throat while working out in the trainer’s area. As I looked up at the large air duct on the ceiling, I noticed a massive infestation of mold growing all around it. I told the assistant manager that there is a serious health hazard here. He said he never noticed it before (hard to miss) and that he’d notify someone tomorrow. He was hesitant to stand underneath the vent himself, but wasn’t stopping 24 hour fitness customers — all of whom breathing heavily from exercise — from continuing their workouts. As an SFUSD teacher, Army Veteran and resident of SF, I love my city and the people in it. For your own health, do not go here until they have remediated the mold. Even then, for those of you who have serious mold sensitivities , asthma or compromised respiratory systems, you should stay away.

Just moved to the area so I downloaded a 3 day pass to try the place out. I was asked for my ID and then told only local residents are eligible. Pretty ridiculous that I need to take a trip to the DMV before I can try out a gym. Won't be coming back. Place seemed pretty "eh" anyway, definitely not worth the membership $ they're charging.

Mediocre facility with the advantage of being close and easy to get to. Price is reasonable. Many old and partially broken or malfunctioning cardio machines but weight facilities are good. Cleanliness is mediocre but would benefit from patrons putting trash in receptacles rather than on the floor and returning equipment to racks after use. There is insufficient staff to clean up after lazy patrons.

To Whom It May Concern,I just cancelled my membership because of this gym. Here are some reasons why and areas of improvement I have observed in the past year and a half. The Wi-Fi is spotty at best. It's something that were paying for and doesn't work. The gym is underground and cell reception doesn't work, which makes it so you can't login to the app, listen to any streaming music services or access any of your gym information. The cleanliness is appalling. The men's locker room smells bad, the faucets are boiling hot or don't work. The air vents don't work and neither does the scale. The equipment is the worst part of the gym. Half of it is broken, not working properly or simply unsafe. It is all very unclean to the point I have skipped an exercise for the lack of sanitation. Cables have snapped on cable weight machines, treadmills are out of service, dumbbells are all out of order, separated, miss matched or simply missing. The state of the equipment is in disarray. You have newer, old and very old equipment all together making it very confusing to a customer base to know what does what. The layout of the equipment has no rhyme or reason, causing customers to walk all over the gym for different amenities. There isn’t a dedicated stretching area for patrons. Last thing I will say is that the staff is either very lazy or nonexistent. I see them either sitting at the front desk not looking up from their phone just letting anyone in or not there entirely. Regarding their attentiveness, I haven’t EVER seen them walking around either putting equipment back, helping someone, cleaning or enforcing rules of any kind. Some good things about the gym are the amount of treadmills and cardio equipment. It is always in high demand at other gyms and I never have trouble getting a machine. The basketball court is very nice and is a very nice amenity to have here in San Francisco. From,A Concerned Customer

One of the worst 24 Fitnesses. I give 2 stars and not one for the towel service. But besides that. It is hust a horrible horrible gym. Dirty nasty smelly attitude of the staff! Rusted equipment and dirt dirt dirt!Worst of all - where is the knobs for the showers??? I understand one missing but 3 showers without knobs? Are you kidding me. I had a horrible experience and never coming back to this location. Good thing i was there in the area to stop by there once. I just feel obligated to worn other people about this though!Do not go there!

This place is atrocious! Easily the worst 24 I've ever been to--and I've been to many all over the country. Much of the equipment is broken or about to break. Free weights are not even close to where they belong so good luck finding the weight you want. And it's so hot!! Even when it's only 60° outside, it's burning up inside. It's completely miserable. I'd be pretty embarrassed if I were the club manager.

In dire need of repairs and updating. To start with staff did not acknowledge me as I entered or exited the facility. Walls had damage in multiple places. Weights all over the place, no staff member working to replace the weights after gym going a$$holes don't put things away. A large portion of weights missing chunks of the rubber protection coating. Someone's dirty Tupperware container just sitting on the floor. Drop tile ceiling in need of repair in multiple locations. Machines missing rubber grips and paint. WiFi is spotty and wouldn't let me stream music for more then 15 seconds. To top that all of there is no swimsuit dryer so I had to pack my wet suite home. I will personally not be revisiting the location until they have brought there facility up to snuff.

Hella rude staff. I tried to get a free 3day pass here and they wouldn’t let me use the pass because I don’t live in SF. I guess I’ll just go to city sports and become a member there...
