24 Hour Fitness

I have only been to the gym a few times since Covid. I was really disappointed. It was closed all that time for repairs and then Covid. They should have cleaned it better before opening. The women's locker room is dirty, there are no non-slip mats, yet after speaking with a gentleman he said the men's locker room and bathroom have them. The women's don't even have any from the pool door to the women's locker room door. The pool had stuff floating on the surface and even in the hot tub. Lord knows when it was last skimmed. The man I spoke with said something is always not working, the jets in the jacuzzi have been working off and on this week. They are not working, the maintenance guy is supposed to fix it tomorrow or Tuesday. This gym is in really bad shape and I am going to look for a new one

5/21/2022: I became a member since late November. I picked 24 hour fitness because I hoped that they would open 24 hours again. Due to work I can go to the gym very late night. Eventually they reopened 24 hours but the few things are restricted. Most importantly the basketball court. When I was getting the tour I was told by the guy convincing me to open a membership with them that I would always have access to the entire gym. I paid $500 dollars just like most members that do the one payment and I get denied access to the basketball court because I go there at night when it's peaceful? Now today I show up a locked gym and wondering why? I flagged the security on my way out and I asked if they knew why the gym was closed? They told me that because they did not have any workers and that is was sad. In the big scale my $500 dollars aren't much but to pay that much money and have parts of the gym denied, have broken down machines that sit for days and days with an "out of service" paper taped to it and to top it all off I have to wonder if they have someone that'll keep the gym open? The security was right. It's sad and doesn't make me feel wanting to renew my membership. This could easily be a nice 5 star rating but it just doesn't make sense. Instead of having up to 4 employees talking during the day doing nothing have some more in the late night instead of having a single person bored out of their mind. Take care of your employees and your customers.Update 5/28/2022: Arrived to a closed gym. Wasted my time to get to a gym that's supposed to be closed.Update 6/4/2022: Arrived to a closed gym again. This place must not keep their employees happy because they can't hire someone and get current employees to cover the night shift.

This place needs be cleaned up/washed down/maintained. The steam room, sauna and pool area are extremely dirty, filthy, unsanitary.

Ice cold water in pool Saturday. Floors and tile areas in women's shower, bathroom and locker room areas are dirty with standing water in various areas. Bad odor in hallway leading to pool area.

I wanted to try out the gym with a free trial and the customer service was just terrible. I was directly speaking with the manager stating that I would like a free trial and he was all difficult and unfriendly, making it all complicated when it wasn't that deep. His attitude was atrocious and I highly recommend 24 hour management replace their front desk because that experience made me never want to step into another 24 Hour again.

Level of customer service is always subpar. Gym amenities are alright. But every time you talk to the staff here it’s difficult. Any times I’ve had issues they make it harder then it needs to be.

Today 4- 24-21was first day Bayfair 24hr fitness was opened after one 1.5 years. THE place was FILTHY NASTY. Nothing was cleaned in the midst of Corona. The manager was none character and walked in the middle speech. No one was in there cleaning dust from over a year is stuck equipment. They are using the paying patrons to clean the equipment. Why didn't they just take the time over the weekend and clean and reopen on 4/26/21. I wish o could attach pic of equipment.

Five stars for the woman who helped us @ 3:15pm, 08/09/21, she's great - very professional.Go in person to quit. You also have to show ID to quit your membership with 24hr Fitness' everywhere. The female associate (older woman, blonde hair, has a handicap) was very thorough in telling me and my partner how to quit this gym but a male associate told us a very different story over the phone. The gym itself and its shady location, negative 10 stars, go to Crunch or Planet fitness down the street. It's much cleaner there minus the people lurking near your car. The parking lot here is still dingy, dirty, and camped in with homeless people everywhere. After a year and a half of renovating the place it doesn't look or feel any better outside.

Good size gym, it does not feel crowded even when it’s busy. A good variety of workout machines and activities

If you're looking for a gym come here and if you're looking for a personal trainer, go see Jason. TLDR; Jason will help you smash whatever goals you have in less time than you might think. Haven't met every trainer in the world, but he might be the best.When I asked around, everyone was like "Go see Jason." I was thinking most personal trainers would generally be the same- fairly knowledgeable, nice, motivating, consistent.Jason is all of those things but goes far beyond with an encyclopedic wealth of knowledge and personal and professional experience to back it up. He dedicates genuine effort into fitness plans and has the right balance of being understanding and empathetic and also knowing when to push limits. YouTube is bae but not a sufficient personal trainer when it comes to the unique combination of body specific goals, body type, personal history, etc. Jason unwittingly illustrates this each session with new information, adjustments to form, tailor made suggestions, and motivational anecdotes. If you're even 2% considering a personal trainer, get a package with Jason and be super stoked in no time.Also, this 24 is the best in the area. Clean, the best ever front desk staff, the AC is always working, and someone is always there ready to answer questions. Highly recommend.
