Equinox San Ramon is a modern gym located in the City Center Bishop Ranch, convenient for both fitness enthusiasts and professionals in the area. While it offers a variety of classes with good instructors, the emphasis on cleanliness makes it a preferable choice for those valuing hygiene. The welcoming and knowledgeable staff add to the positive experience, though some strict rules and high traffic may be a downside for some members.

Fine gym. Extremely high traffic at all times of the day, I feel like many people go specifically to shower and use the products so dozens of people in the shower at all times. Staff tries to keep up with cleaning and maintenance but I don’t see how it’s possible even with an army. I go to lift weights. So maybe the price is better if you take classes.Gym is also in the mall so parking is a disaster on the weeekends. Expect to add 10 min to your drive there to find a spot in the garage.I do think the seating area is cool, have used it numerous times to take work calls. For the price & if you don’t take classes, I would check out other options.

Welcoming/host staff very kind.Carmen, personal trainer, super friendly and knowledgeable.Housekeeping (Norma) extremely helpful and patient. Very good at cleaning locker rooms3 stars due to the limited hours of operations and occasionally staff is late to open the facility on time.It seems as if the amount we (members) pay for this luxury gym, is for it to be closed rather than opened.

Beautiful place lots of class good instructors but be prepared to follow rules. If you are even a couple of minutes late you are in trouble . Once I was 3 minutes late and was chastised by the manager and was told I was lucky I didn’t get locked out. If you try to take an intro class because you are out of shape you can’t if you aren’t new . I was told to leave. When you finish a class you can’t stay a few minutes to stretch you have to leave immediately even if next class is not for a while the entire room needs to empty to clean ( I do appreciate the cleanliness so that one is more understandable !) I really try to be on time and considerate and I genuinely like the teachers but it’s getting stressful and I go to the gym to reduce stress not add to it.

Empty gyms deserve presumptive and arrogant sales approaches. Good luck equinox,. What a shame. Here is what I got after my second inquiry. Guess equinox is too fancy to ask about offers!!“”In regard to your question about "time" commitment with the membership, yes there is. When we last spoke via text in September of 2022, you'd mentioned the price point being too high. Nothing has changed in regard to the price point in fact we are now $212 per month. Again, last time we spoke in Sept. you'd asked what the commitment was. I'd responded and let you know that it was a twelve-month contract with cancellation rights. Nothing has changed there either. So I'm happy to tour you but you should keep in mind these are our terms. If they don't fit, you or what you are looking for then I would recommend Fitness 19 or 24 Hour Fitness. They will offer both a quite lower monthly and month to month option which seemed to be what you needed last time.””

Equinox San Ramon does not value your safety! On December 15th, on the way to the steam room, I slipped and fell due the excessive accumulation of water outside of the shower on the floor. Maintenance has been an issue and major complaints among member.SOS EQUINOX HEADQUARTER, this location needs some help. Instead of the staff be worried about my falling I noticed some of them were avoid talking to me . They probably have been intimidated by their acting GM on duty. Bad job ! Irresponsible.

I love this gym. It was always clean, wasn’t ever too full. Everything was really organized. Unfortunately I had cancel due to an employer change but would love to join again some day.
