Planet Fitness in Walnut Creek provides a welcoming environment for beginners and casual gym-goers. The location at 1697 Mt Diablo Blvd is well-kept, with clean and sanitized equipment and friendly staff who are eager to assist. While the facility boasts a good range of equipment and specializes in cardio, some users note the uneven ratio of cardio machines to weightlifting equipment. Notably, Planet Fitness operates 24 hours on select days, making it a convenient option for many.
One unique aspect of this Planet Fitness is the inclusive atmosphere, earning praise for its 'Judgment Free Zone.' However, the gym does face challenges with parking availability and occasional overcrowding during peak hours. Despite these minor setbacks, the supportive environment and cleanliness make it a solid choice for those seeking an accessible and friendly gym experience.

Beautiful new facility but not enough weights and cable machines. It's 90% cardio equipment.

A clean, well organized and staffed gym.Sadly, only a partly 24 hrs.gym. Hopefully that one shortcoming will change as this location grows and Walnut. Creek addresses its weekend crime and safety issues.

After going to a different PF in a neighboring city, I came across this PF. I’m so glad I decided to come give this gym a shot. This place, from the equipment and its employees, all are outstanding! The gym, the machines, the bathrooms are all kept clean! The employees are so friendly and welcoming to everyone!! The minute I step inside here, I am greeted and told “We got you! Have a great workout!” I constantly see the employees cleaning and walking around seeing how they can support us in the gym. It’s a great place to workout and should be an example of how ALL PF should be!

Tbh, I miss when they had a scale in the locker rooms. I understand the business model and the number absolutely does not matter however for ppl looking to track and are training, it's a downside. Great place for beginners and casual working out. If you're training or looking for more, maybe not the best spot. Packed frequently, small locations (some are pretty spacious) are relatively clean, and friendly staff. It's nice affordable and convenient for all walks of life. Concord location is my home location, parking sucks.
