I started training here 5 years ago and now my 2 kids train as well. It’s a huge confidence booster for my kids and a great workout and community for adults. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I had dropped in on a Sunday "Open Mat". The Vibes at this academy were nice, pleasant and welcoming. The training partners here were cautious and well oriented towards situational awareness and weren't careless at all which is a great Plus.Due to my great and positive experience here;I will continue to make drop in visits here on Sundays.

Very good community and super welcoming. Strong attention to detail on grips, positioning, and enthusiasm when teaching class. I signed up my first night being that I'm a transfer student having relocated to Danville and Alex knows a lot of the professors I've learned from making this a better experience to join the crew. Tracy is extremely responsive to questions and will get back to you super quick so if you're keen on making a transition to a school with great instructors in great location this is the spot to be.

Absolutely love this place. My daughter went to another BJJ gym for 1.5 years but the class sizes were way too big (20+ to 1 instructor). Warrior's class size can be up to 15 students (on rare occasions), but there is always at least 2 instructors, if not more, making the ratio more than 1:8. Their instruction is clear and focused. We love that the students get at least 5-10 minutes to spar with others at the end of each class to practice putting together all the skills. We can tell that the coaches genuinely care about our kids and take the time to get to know them. Tournaments are encouraged but definitely not required. We have now been here for over 2 years with absolutely no complaints about Warrior BJJ and recommend it to our friends who ask.

Both of my kids have been attending Warrior BJJ for 1.5 years. They love it! Classes are a good balance between learning/improving techniques and training/sparring. The instructors Alex and Tracy are wonderful with the kids. They have high expectations and also make sure the kids have fun and leave each class with a smile on their faces. They really help bring out the best in each kid.

I’ve been training here for a few years and Alex is an amazingly teacher. The place is always inviting, clean and welcoming to all. I’m moving to San Diego and I’m already sad and devastated about leaving my jiu jitsu family and friends I’ve made since joining the Warrior team. I would recommend Warrior Jiu Jitsu to anyone regardless of age or fitness level. All are welcomed here. Come train with us

You wrote a review for Warrior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu AcademyA moment ago5.0 star rating 4/12/2018Warrior BJJ is a positive and supportive environment to grow and learn jiu jitsu. I signed my 2 kids up over 1 year ago and recently joined myself. The coaches, Alex and Tracy, treats everyone like family. They are great mentors that are always patient and know when to push your limits. Jiu Jitsu is very technical and with their guidance as well as the support of the all the other students, I have absolutely grown to love the art. You definitely feel the sense of community, energy and drive for everyone to do well.

After being brought up playing the more traditional sports, I never would've thought of getting my son into jiu jitsu. However, dumb luck brought us to Warrior BJJ in Danville one day and now my 5 year old is hooked. The strength and body movements he's learning in jiu jitsu are even making him better at those traditional sports I'm more used to. He's also gaining confidence and learning how to protect himself. Our family couldn't be more happy with the low key yet professional atmosphere created by the owners and coaches at Warrior BJJ.

I'm a newbie to Jiu Jitsu who just joined Warrior BJJ last month. Highly impressed with Alex and his team. Not only have they been very welcoming to me, but within a short period of time I feel like I've already learned a ton.Alex teaches all levels and all ages. He's very involved and committed to the improvement of all his students, and from what I hear has an excellent reputation within the BJJ community.I highly encourage people to try BJJ out, and there's no better place to do so than at Warrior BJJ. As soon as my kids are old enough, I plan to enroll them too. The concepts taught in BJJ can be applied in all aspects of life - great way to learn how to defend yourself, teach respect and humility, build character, while also being one heck of a workout, and an overall fun experience. Every day after class I leave feeling like I just got hit by a truck - but I can't wait to get back for more.
