I had heard good things about Orange Theory and maybe other locations are good but this one is terrible. They gave me a very quick introduction to one machine before moving on with the class. The leader constantly shouted out Orange Theory specific terms that were never explained. The leader checked in with me twice during class and once after class trying to sign me up and called me the wrong name the whole time. This location then continued to text me to come back, despite me telling them I have moved away and am not interested in coming back.

The bands are great to on the fly monitor your progress and be able to track your progress on a long term basis too. The big variations in the workouts, gives that muscle confusion that creates lots of progress toward your goals. Also maybe best of all is the ability to continually burn for 36 hours after the workout because it is so intense. This gives everyone more time to live their lives instead of live at the gym!

Haley greeted me and explained everything in a friendly professional manner. I never felt like she was trying to "shame me into membership" or "push me" to sign up NOW like other places I have tried in the past. She answered all my questions and when I came back 2 days later she greeted me by name. <3My first class was with Mallory. I loved it from the beginning. The treadmills are fantastic and I was able to push myself even though I have knee issues (recovering from a torn meniscus in one and arthritis in the other).Mallory encouraged but never "yelled at" me (or the class) like some of instructors in the classes I attend. And I really appreciated the modifications she showed and explained in all areas. There wasn't that competitive air among the people there. There were people of all sizes and shapes and ages and I didn't feel self conscious in the least. The equipment was fantastic and the environment was so clean. People my age really notice that ;) The class went by so quickly I was never bored or unfocused. After class, Mallory explained all the stats on the board and, again, encouraged all of us first timers without patronizing us or pressuring us to sign up. No need for pressure when the program speaks for itself. Such a positive attitude all around. I LOVE it and will continue. PS I have been in the process of losing 40 pounds since July. I hit a plateau at -27. Mallory explained that if we achieved a certain number of "points" from minutes in certain zones, we would keep burning for the next 24-36 hours. I was a skeptic but when I weighed in on Wednesday, I hit -30! 10 to go and I know Orangetheory is going to be the key to that last 10 pounds.

Truthfully, there is no way to fully express how amazing OTF Cottonwood Heights is! The coaches are phenomenal; they know your name, they genuinely care, and they want the best for you. I have never been consistent in health/fitness before joining OTF in September, and now it's an hour of my day that I look forward to and am beyond excited for. There have been many times where a coach will give a high five or say encouragements that have gotten me through the rest of a tough day. I've bettered health through OTF, made so many genuine friendships, and have learned so much about my body and what it can do. I love the OrangeTheory family, and will forever be grateful for them!

I’m going to be honest. I walk in usually telling myself I can just walk and take it easy. Then I start my warm up and I remember how good it feels to move. Then I listen and watch what I will have to do on each station and think to myself, I can do that. I love Orangetheory because I can give myself over to the process and know I am getting a great workout. On my own, I would have never discovered what a great full body workout the rower is, or challenged myself to do a full push-up or increase the pace of my running. But here, I have done all of those things and I love it.

Great workout and staff. The actual people that go here are a bit rude! And not enough convenient locations yet, but a fabulous workout

I love that everyone at Orange Theory is there because they want to work hard. So many different individuals in one class, and one goal: feel the burn.

Love orange theory! I've been going almost a year. The coaches are all fantastic and the workouts are killer. I definitely recommend.

The Best OTF Ever! Everything from the coaches to the team upfront, everyone is very professional, motivating and supportive! I have never had a bad class! They are my favorites!

Orange theory is better than I imagined! The staff were so friendly and kind, I felt an immediate sense of belonging. The workout routines are fluid and flawless thanks to the trainers I don’t have to sit and question whether I’m doing something right or wrong.
