The BEST trainer in the bay area!!

It’s been a full week since I severely sprained my ankle from landing poorly and putting all of my weight onto my right ankle. I thought I broke my ankle, it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Initially, I thought it was a small ankle roll, but had to sit out for the rest of class.In Feb, I moved away from 24 Hour Fitness during the New Years resolutioners crowds and discovered 3Fit. I kept coming back because I really liked the instructor and could tell that Marcel really cares about his clients and his people. He ensures that everyone is with proper form, properly challenging themselves, encourages technique over macho ego, and really stresses the importance of listening to your body. I know what it’s like to “push for that last rep,” ultimately compromising form (which you should never ever do) and setting me back a little to re-evaluate. I learned more about fitness and can take these lessons and apply them to my own lifting regimens. Marcel has great fitness philosophies and is a fun trainer to be around.Marcel reached out to me to check in with the sprain, even in the middle of the week when I didn’t give updates other than the initial ones about needing to RICE and take it easy. Most rehabilitation from injuries tend to put people back to the state they were in pre-injury, susceptible to another injury. Marcel emphasized the importance of recovering better than before to prevent that. I am very amazed and can’t express enough how supportive and caring he is, he definitely cares about his job and duties. Marcel probably doesn’t even see it a job since it’s something he is very passionate about (talk about a millennial’s dreams to never have to work a day in your life because you have the job that you care and are passionate about). Marcel really goes the “extra mile” in extending his care and concern for others. I am excited for my ankle’s recovery, but will be taking it slow, and listening to my body so that I can come back stronger than ever before.If you’re into fitness classes, or want a great personal trainer, I highly recommend 3Fit and Marcel! 🤩💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

This is gonna be a long one, but it's because there are so many good things to say about Marcel and 3FIT. I originally started 3FIT back in 2014 after trying a few group classes in the area. If you haven't guessed it, 3FIT stuck while the others didn't. You can get a good workout anywhere - what you can't get anywhere are trainers who are passionate about their trade AND care about you and your goals. I attended group classes 2-3 weekly for over a year, and then switched to private training with my partner to get us wedding ready. We would not have stopped going to 3FIT, but we moved out of state. Hence, update...After gaining some of my weight back and falling off the shape wagon, I started a small home gym and got back to my routines. Here's another reason why 3FIT is the best - they don't just tell you what to do, they TEACH you what to do so that you can work on your own too. Fitness to Marcel and 3FIT isn't just a "come to the gym, give us your money and we will make it sweat," it is a way of life that translates to everything you do. Anyway, I got back in shape but eventually hit a plateau - I wasn't seeing progress in my weight training, nor was I moving closer to my goal of getting toner. So, I reached out to Marcel for some guidance, and of course, he was game because he's the absolute best. I've been working with Marcel long-distance for about 2 months now, and I have already seen huge improvements in my mobility, strength, endurance and overall body composition. He is always so helpful with my odd questions or weird descriptions of muscle groups, and it just amazes me that 1, he can do this all long distance, and 2, that he cares so much about his work that he has been willing to help me reach my goals, even when I'm not there in the gym. Guys, Marcel is the REAL DEAL - I seriously can't recommend this gym enough!!

3 Fit is a great place to get in shape. I've been going there off and on for over 2 years and it has completely transformed my body and my life. Probably the most important aspect to Marcel's training is the way he teaches you correct form and explains what each move/exercise is doing for you. With his guidance, I have continued to workout at home and to make progress.Saturday group classes are great. The facilities and environment are great. Highly recommend.

I joined 3fit a month ago to loss fat and get more toned. Vincent is the best trainer I have ever had. He knows exactly what we have to work on to reach my goal. He is also very knowledgable about dieting and health in general. He has answers to all of my questions about how I can adjust my diet to loss fat more efficiently. Losing fat is time and energy consuming. I am glad I have Vincent and 3fit to help me along the process.
