I have been a member at this location since March. I have been an OrangeTheory member for almost two years and I've been to several locations around the bay.I am very impressed with the cleanliness and organization at Monticello. The studio has always been well maintained. I also enjoy the plentiful parking in either the front lot or the garage. The front desk staff have been helpful with any questions or otbeat charging. Darrien, Frankie, Conor, and Nicolette have been really great coaches. You can tell they care to see the members improve in their fitness and health. They have always taken extra care to make sure members understand the exercises and keep good form.I would highly recommend this location to anyone and struggle to understand some of the negative reviews as I've never experienced their issues.

I have been a member at OTF Monticello for the last 18 months and I have had a stellar experience. The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the coaches are all engaged and supportive. Most of my classes are with Coach Nicolette and Coach Darrien and I really appreciate the energy, enthusiasm and 1:1 personal attention they bring to their classes. It has inspired me to stay the course and find satisfaction and consistency in my work-outs.Many of the negative reviews reference the parking situation and being denied entry to a class upon arriving a few minutes late. I have rarely had issues with parking but it would be helpful to factor in an additional 2-3 minutes to find parking and walk over to OTF at this location. The ingress to the Monticello Town Center is inconvenient and the parking lot is situated in the opposite corner from the OTF location. But there are spots usually available in the parking lot and, if not, there is visitor parking inside the garage. I occasionally attend classes at the downtown Sunnyvale location and I would say that the parking at Monticello is much more convenient and easier. My 18 months at OTF Monticello has transformed me, not just in terms of health and vibrancy, but also in terms of my attitude towards working out and leading a healthier lifestyle. I am very grateful to the staff and coaches at OTF Monticello for supporting my journey and the encouragement that I have received there. I have occasionally worked out at other OTF locations and I do not think I would have made the same progress even at a different OTF studio. So if you are looking for a friendly and supportive neighborhood work-out studio, give them a try! Thank you OTF Monticello!

I recently attended three sessions at Orange Theory Fitness in California (Santa Clara, Monticello, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.)I think one star is a lot for this studio!!!!The environment within the facility was notably unkempt and unpleasant. The gym area was messy, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The pervasive bad smell was off-putting and detracted from the workout experience. Moreover, the demeanor of the front desk staff was less than welcoming. Their lack of friendliness made the overall atmosphere unwelcoming and unprofessional. As a customer, feeling valued and welcomed is crucial, and unfortunately, this aspect was severely lacking. The coaches appeared disorganized and lacked professionalism. Their approach was messy, which affected the flow and effectiveness of the workout sessions. Additionally, the lack of organization impacted the overall quality of coaching and guidance provided. To add to the disappointment, the state of the bathrooms was unacceptable. They were unclean, which is not only unpleasant but also raises concerns about hygiene and facility maintenance.Furthermore, the high registration fee charged by Orange Theory Fitness did not align with the low quality of services and facilities provided. The substantial investment made in registering for the sessions did not reflect the standard of the experience. My expectations for a fitness center, especially one like Orange Theory Fitness, were unfortunately not met. The collective experience of an unclean environment, unwelcoming staff, disorganized coaching, poorly maintained facilities, and an inadequate return on the high registration fee severely impacted my workouts and overall impression of the establishment.I hope that Orange Theory Fitness addresses these concerns promptly to enhance the experience for their patrons.

THE BEST PLACE TO WORKOUT! Coaches Nicolette, Darrien, Conor, Frankie are really cool trainers and emphasise on form along with creating a perfect workout atmosphere in the class with music and hype. The management along with the staff are helpful and responsive.

Love this studio and staff! Classes at this studio don’t fill up as fast as nearby locations ensuring I can always get a spot even when signing up last minute. Coaches are super positive and push you to do your best. Very effective and challenging 60 minute workout. I’ve never had issues parking, as there is a big lot and garage just a short walk away. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews… showing up on time is important for class and good to develop discipline. Front desk staff and coaches really make you feel like you’re part of a community!

Title: Mixed Experience at Orange Theory Fitness: A Call for Humanity and Flexibility.Review:My journey with Orange Theory Fitness has been a mix of highs and lows, but recent encounters have left me questioning the gym's commitment to its members' well-being. While I appreciate the intense workouts and motivational atmosphere, certain aspects demand attention for the gym to truly thrive.Firstly, the parking challenges surrounding the gym have been a constant source of frustration. Finding a suitable parking spot nearby is time-consuming, often leading to delays in reaching the class on time.On one such occasion, the lack of available parking made me a FEW SECONDS late for a class. They give 5 mins grace to save your hefty $14, My class was at 5:45PM and I reached at 5:50:10PM. I rushed to the gym, hoping for understanding from the front desk staff, but instead, I faced an unyielding and inhumane response. Paulina and Natassja's robotic adherence to the late arrival policy left me feeling undervalued as a customer. As a loyal member, I find it disheartening to witness a gym prioritizing profit over its members' well-being. If someone shows up dressed and ready for a class, only to find it far from fully booked, why should they be charged for a last-minute cancellation? It's a question that remains unanswered by the management. Why is the studio so desperate to make money? Moreover, the strict late cancellation policy perplexes me, particularly when the class is not even close to being fully booked. Being charged a hefty fee for an unfilled class seems unjust and profit-driven, rather than customer-centric. It raises the question of whether the gym prioritizes its members or its bottom line.Engaging in a conversation with the manager, Taylor, did little to ease my concerns. Her lack of empathy and reluctance to address these issues only reinforced the notion that the gym's priorities might be misaligned. As a devoted member, I believe Orange Theory Fitness must reevaluate its policies to prioritize humanity and customer satisfaction. Being respectful and sweet in communication does not excuse a lack of empathy and understanding. The staff's inhumane behavior towards minor delays and unforeseen circumstances creates a negative and unwelcoming environment for loyal members like myself. In conclusion, Orange Theory Fitness has the potential to foster a positive and supportive community. To achieve this, they must address the parking challenges and adopt a more reasonable and compassionate approach to late arrivals and cancellations. Customers are calling for transparency, flexibility, and genuine care - the pillars of a successful and enduring gym experience.

Orangetheory is excellent for people who like variety in their workouts and find that they succeed in a somewhat competitive atmosphere. I always look forward to my Orangetheory workouts!
