Today before closing time, the cleaning lady went to the women’s changing room and heavily pushed every shower room’s door, shouted we are closed to force people in shower getting out. Several people went panicked thinking there is some emergency, For the expensive membership fee we paid, we shouldn’t be treated so rude.

The gym is okay, but they will keep charging you even after you've canceled the membership 3+ times. Terrible. Will cancel my credit card like another member recommended in the review below.

I haven’t been to this gym in 14 months, I think I’ve cancelled it three times, and they just won’t stop charging me. They’ll like skip a month and then charge my card for a month, and then 3 days later charge it again. I’m going to have to cancel my credit card to get out of this membership. The gym’s alright if you like to swim laps, attend the classes, and use all the amenities, but the whole time I was there was filled with broken promises and never really felt like a good value like when Cupertino was available with this site.

Disappointed about the booking system for tennis. Need the highest level of membership to book 5 day in advance and get the ball machine reserved or 'in demand' convenient hours court reservation. With my 3 day in advance booking access, ... quite challenging and need to set alarms and book within 10min as the timeslot opens to get a chance. The sad thing is that there is no enforcement to check if people indeed show up and use the court, so I do not see it changing any time soon unless you pay premium membership (Golf level).Pools are great!!Classes have much less choices and levels than before Covid era, especially yoga, however I like those and I have managed to attend them even though they also get booked full on the app.Bottom line, great environment and facility (inside reparation/renovation has not made progress for 18 months) but too many members making access challenging at comparatively speaking a high membership rate.

Great outdoor faculties. Swimming and full panoply of weight and aerobic equipment. All socially distanced with product CNN leaning between user workouts.

We had to quit Bay Club Santa Clara membership where we had junior membership because of Junior membership regulations.a. New enforcement of policy for Junior Racket members requires that a parent accompanying a minor must purchase a guest pass ($30 / pass).b. Further there are restrictions on number of passes an individual can purchase per month - the combination of these two facts means that a junior member can not use the courts (squash) ever.Further challenges for junior members include:a. Court bookings are restricted to a short time period. Courts are generally not available before 4pm or after 7:30 pm - pretty much eliminating possibility of use for young players. The club also employs "switch and bait" in its advertising:a. The academy (small clinic) is restricted to only 2 months for non-members. This is never disclosed. So beware if you sign up. The club does not enforce such a restriction as long as you are paying "enough" to them on aggregate (I think they seek upwards of $500 / month to turn a blind eye).b. The junior membership does NOT include Box League. This is common for other similar clubs. To play Box League, you have to pay extra $250-$350 on top of Junior membership.Overall - not a good option.

This is one of the best, sweetest little gyms. The staff is amazing and the fellow members are nicer than any other Bay Club I have been to. It's a hidden gem in Santa Clara.
