Dropped in for a week while I was in the area for work, everyone was very friendly and made me feel right at home. This box definitely represents what the crossfit community is all about.

If you're on the fence about giving Crossfit a shot. I can't encourage you enough to check out Crossfit Rise. It’s a big, open, Crossfit “Box” with top notch equipment and great coaches.I've been going for a year now and the improvements I've made it terms of strength, mobility, and endurance is amazing. Progress is what it's all about here. It doesn't matter if you're going in with a background of weight lifting or a history of couch potato-ing. It’s not uncommon to be working out in a group where one person is using a 75lb kettle bell and the person next to them is a 5lb kettle bell. They're both going to leave feeling like they got a butt kicking of a workout.Justin and all the coaches are so knowledgeable and skilled, they make the Crossfit WOD's (workout of the day) scalable and safe but no less challenging for everyone. I had a fear of hurting myself before I started. I thought at 44 maybe I shouldn’t be trying to do Olympic style lifts, or headstand push-ups. But the coaches take you through a progression of stretches and excercises to activate and strengthen the muscles you’ll be using. Some you probably didn't know you had. Stick with it and you’ll find yourself doing things you never knew you were capable of, guaranteed!

I have been going to Crossfit Rise for almost 4 years now and can't say enough great things about the program, facility, and the coaches. I have completely changed my outlook on nutrition and fitness since joining and can't imagine where I would be if I hadn't found this place. There is no other place I would rather be at 5:30am every morning!

For the past six months I was traveling to the Schaumburg area for work. I attended the 5:30 am class with Justin at Crossfit Rise and loved it. He is a great coach and I'll be sad to leave. The facility is huge, clean and has enough equipment for everyone. I highly recommend Crossfit Rise!

For about 6 months, I was on the line about crossfit after all the mixed reviews I was hearing. I gave it a shot and dropped in for a complimentary week a year and half ago. What started as a skeptical move, has got me going there every month since then. The workouts beat the cr** out of me but something keeps me coming back. I guess its the friendly environment and the fun aspect of the workout. Shout out to all the coaches for their patience and how they are explaining and correcting the physiques for the workouts. I would definitely recommend anyone on the line to talk to them and take them up on the "No-Sweat Intro".

CrossFit Rise is an amazing place to workout. It's more than a gym, it's a community. If you are on the fence about trying CrossFit, or if you've tried another CrossFit box (gym) before and had a meh experience, do yourself a favor and give CrossFit Rise a chance. I've been a member for close to 5 years and the workouts never get boring.
