One of the worst decisions was to sign my son up. All they care about is money and marketing. They set timers and when class is over that's it no personal one on one. Not a family atmosphere. All about money and promoting their gym. Making you buy their merchandise and putting decals on your cars. Blah... couldn't wait for my overpriced contract to be up! The only reason there are any positive reviews is because these people haven't checked out any other gyms without contracts. They don't understand the concept of family just money and marketing making sure that you like them on Facebook and share all of the posts. My son learned NOTHING is his year contract. Now that he's not there he is mastering the art of jujitsu in a family atmosphere. Live and learn. Don't sign a contract with these people unless you research other gyms. Crooks.

We had been looking to introduce our son to martial arts when we just happened to stumble upon P3 Martial Arts and we couldn't be any happier. The progress he has made in such a short few months is nothing short of amazing. Not only in the physical aspects but personal as well. Our son was welcomed from day one and he is always looking forward to training each week! We are SO glad we found P3 Martial Arts!!

My experience with P3 BJJ Martial Arts has been awesome from the very beginning!Last year, I was searching for "sport" places to take my 8 year old son Eric, since his only activities were going to school and playing video games. I tried the soccer place, the football place, the skating place, the swimming place - but none seemed to interest him much. Then I found BJJ Martial Arts and made an appointment to bring Eric in. As soon as we walked in the door, Coach Brian & Coach Lynette made us feel so welcome. Eric was asked to join Coach Lynette on to the mat and drill with her. When we left, he immediately said to me "Mom, I want to come here...I liked it a lot!". I was so happy to hear those words, and he started training in February 2016.Enrolling Eric at P3 BJJ was the best decision I've made - (and trust me, sometimes I even question my past decisions...) because it has impacted our lives in a very positive way. I cannot say enough kind words about the owner Coach Pete, and all the other Coaches. They are all very professional, very patient with all students, and very caring. Eric has gained many friendships with the other students in his classes....we've had a few sleepovers at our house with many of them & he always has so much fun! I have also gained friends since all the parents are so nice & friendly. For me personally, being a single mom & all, it matters a lot that my son has positive role models to look up to - especially men. Him not having that father-&-son bond in his life has been a bit tough for both of us. However, I can truly say that Eric looks up to the Coaches at P3. He respects their opinions, and he is learning many positive traits from them all! Every single Coach at P3 gives Eric words of encouragement to do well, and they make him feel very special. He feels he achieved something important every time he is rewarded with a new stripe! When Coach Pete takes the time to give him pep-talks about not being nervous for a competition, it boosts his self-esteem. When he has a private lesson scheduled with Coach Brian, he can't wait to get to it & learn new stuff from him because he wants to "be like him when he grows up" (his own words...) He likes to roll with Coach John because he makes it fun for him, and they both like wrestling! And he thinks Coach Eric has the best name! :-)I can go on and on and write many positive experiences we've had at P3 BJJ in Schaumburg. I recommend it to everyone! This is truly an awesome place for kids AND adults....I even enrolled in classes myself and LOVE IT!!!

My son, Joseph, is in the Tiny Warriors class and loves it. His coaches are energetic and enthusiastic, making class fun. On top of learning martial arts skills, Joe is also learning the fundamentals of being a kind, responsible, and confident person. As soon as my younger son is old enough, he will be enrolled as well. We're glad we found P3.

This place is so much more than just a place our son goes to train. They are very much like family. You walk in the door and you are treated like you are one of them. Respect is always shown. They ask how you are, how the family and kids are doing, they genuinely care. Our son loves getting ready to go to P3 Martial Arts. The coaches are so supportive and do well with young kids. Being only 4, our son has came along so far and has learned confidence and how to be a good sport to others. It is important for them to teach you don't just dominate your opponent, but you gain the skills to learn how to do your best in all situations. Our son loves to come home and continue being a teacher of Jujitsu. He teaches his younger brother, which is too young to join, how to bow before entering the mat, in our case a large area rug in our home. I love watching our boys at home practice what they have learned. Our son was at a tournament and the coaches were so supportive. They were a prime example of the role model I want my boys to look up to. All of the coaches are kind, respectful, polite and very encouraging. These types of intangible traits are not what you get at just any Martial Arts, but you will find them at this Schaumburg P3 Martial ArtsDo what we did, get in on a special offer and find out if your child enjoys Martial Arts. I bet they will ;) and when they do, you will see why we are so happy to have found this place.

We have had nothing but a positive experience since we signed up our 11-year-old son.As an off-season conditioning supplement to travel hockey and lacrosse, we decided to give P3 Martial Arts a shot.We found not only does P3 provide a great workout and solid age, appropriate Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction and self-defense…It also excels at promoting character development, discipline, and overall being a good person. Bonus!Couple that with the fact that the coaches are fantastic with the kids, it's a no-brainer for your child to train here.

People are very friendly and nice from the instructors to the parents. It is a very welcoming family oriented atmosphere. I take my son there who is 14 years old. He has made a lot of friends and participated in activities held there. Everything offered at the school including extracurricular activities has provided benefits and boosted his overall character as a person.
