Mountainside Fitness Scottsdale Pavilions

I have had the worst experience with this establishment and its staff. The customer service is below the bare minimum that should be provided. I was told not once, but two separate times that money would not be taken out of my account, but it was. Now $80 dollars i wasn’t expecting to be gone is gone. Management told me they would follow up with me, but i had to follow up with them. I was told it would take a couple of days to get my money back and it’s been over a week. Quick to take the money away but not quick to give it back. Clearly don’t care about the customer experience, but like every other commercial gym, just care about the money. Private gyms might be more expensive but at least their customer service is at bare minimum, present.

I have been in the Phoenix area for 5 years now and I have been to couple gyms, but this gym by far has been the best. From someone who lifts a good amount they have a good variety of machines for both strength & mobility training. The spacing of the gym is good as well so I am not working super close to others during my workout. I do not participate in classes but I do see there is always opportunities for people to do everything from spin, yoga, & Zumba. They also have a Sauna and steam room which is very nice after a long workout. All and all I highly recommend this gym to both beginners trying to get into working out/stay healthy and those who are fanatics and go to the gym every day.

I have been to many gyms in my life, evidenced by my incredible physique, however, this Mountainside is simply the greatest. It’s easy to tell how much care this gym has for it’s clients by how clean and well-maintained the gym is, though, it becomes most clear when interacting with the people who work there. Jake Brennan has made a profound impact on my gym experience and journey, offering superb service, advice and making the best gosh-dang smoothies this side of the Mississippi!5/5 stars everyday of the week, everyday of the year!

Large gym with lots of free weights, the CrossFit area has a lot of extra bars and racks so it's easy to set up for bench, squat, deadlift. Crowded after work, but good vibes and everyone is pretty friendly and open to sharing. Big bonus for having good sized sauna and steam rooms to relax after a lift. Full smoothie bar - John at the front hooked me up with an excellent smoothie.

High quality gym with great equipment, helpful staff and the best childcare. My kids literally ask to come here.

Came into town for business and needed to find a gym for duration of trip and did I!!! What a gym , from staff to equipment especially Tyler and GM ,outstanding serviceand protein bar was awesome. If I lived here this would be my gym !! Thanks Mountains Fitness..

Amazing gym! Amazing crew, (shout out to Chad for always going above and beyond; serious customer service skills) amazing equipment, amazing group fitness classes, amazing group fitness instructors, amazing locker rooms, (DUDE(T) GET YOU AN EXECUTIVE LOCKER SO COOOOL.) amazing steam room and hot sauna, and did I mention towel service?! Only $40-50 a month?! WHAT!!?? 💪 🚀 🙏

Family switched over to to mountainside summer of 2020. Childcare is phenomenal, my trainer Tim is very knowledgeable, polite and very educated. His energy is very adaptable. I appreciate that he took into consideration where I was at physically and mentally after having a baby and working out 2 months post-partum worked on rehabbing.I do believe that the current management could do better at being more approachable. Most of the time they dont smile back, avoid eye contact, and look unhappy most of the time. As a client of theirs it makes you feel a bit unwelcome.Otherwise, Rebecca (childcare manager) and her team in childcare have a very welcoming spirit everything time I dropped my children off. I do appreciate the security precautions they implement.Bathrooms and facility are clean and spacious. Towel service is a plus.People go for what they are there for and are time efficient with the machines.

There are plenty of workers here yet the wipes are empty everyday around six. I have tried every rowing machine and either the feet screws are missing, chin is rusted, or the straps are broken. Please fix this.

Over crowded during peak hours so I go later but then they close early on weekend evening which sucks. I assume this is a carryover from Covid hour restrictions and likely a factor also of organizational inefficiency.Needs more squat racks. Also, please don’t use 1/2 squat racks to do some rubber and exercises with the frame, there’s lots of places to do that, but not to squat. Thanks.
