Went at 730pm and it has what felt like a perfect amount of people. Not overly packed like sbp and not too sparse like the other smaller gyms. Enough people to feel the psych and work with others, but not too many people where you were waiting more than climbing or trying to jump in line to climb.

Really inclusive environment. Staff answered all the questions that I had without making me feel rushed. As a complete beginner, I was a little intimidated by picking up a new hobby. However, the staff is incredibly friendly and eased all my concerns. Very large gym with a lot of variety. Looking forward to coming back.

Great customer service. Good variety of climbing route levels of difficulty. Free lockers to use during the visit were great to store valuables while climbing. Also, there are showers available in the locker room.

The gym itself was really clean and I especially loved how there was a room with gym equipment, and a yoga studio! But after reading some of these reviews, I’m a little disappointed that I wasn’t offered any of the member perks at the front desk. I told the lady it was my first time and I had no idea how to get started. She gave me quite a perfunctory and abstruse explanation then followed up asking if I needed shoes. I didn’t get a chalk bag, although I’m not sure if these get handed out.I did enjoy the treadwall, it was essentially my go to and hopefully a lesson is offered the next time that way I’m more confident.

We had a great first climbing experience! The walls were suitable for beginners and they offer routes for advanced climbers as well. The facility was large, clean and not too crowded when we went at 6-7pm on Tuesday. The only reason I gave four stars was because the man at the front desk was rude. Yelling at us to watch the video while the other front desk person was still checking us in, and gave me attitude when I asked for shoes…? I’m sorry I’m new here… I understand we all have bad days but that is not how you should treat paying customers.

Great (fun and interesting) route setting. The gym is very clean with modern training tools and an exceptional fitness area. There's also plenty of parking, especially for an urban Seattle location. Best of all, they are not forcing the staff to continue the mask charade.I've climbed at all the local gyms and momentum is my favorite bouldering spot in Western Washington.

Momentum SODO has the best setting in the Seattle/Tacoma area. There is great variety from V0's on up so there's something fun for people in every skill level to practice. It is also the cleanest gym available. Moreover, the yoga classes are high quality. Momentum makes my life in Seattle better.

My son and I took the beginning class and then spent another hour climbing on our own. Ashley taught a great class and we had fun working afterwards on our own. The difficulty system is easy to understand and there is lots of variation around the facility. We will definitely be back

Bouldering class exceeded expectations. Andrew was awesome and made it a great experience to approach learning to boulder for the first time ever. Will be back on the regular, can’t wait to climb! Clean gym, professional staff. Thank you!

Fantastic gym! Very clean, mostly never as crowded as other climbing gyms and the problems are technical and powerful! Training area and fitness room are always clean and ready for use. Staff is friendly, you can see them climbing in-between too!
