No harnesses, bouldering only which is why 4 stars not 5. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Routes were diverse and had a wide range of difficulty(V0-V16) the workout area was great and it has rings! The prices are a bit steep considering there are no auto belays. 28$ for a day pass w/ rentals, but you know beginners can only climb for like 45min, if that, so I wish it was more affordable.

Went to Momentum for the first time with my friend this evening and we had a wonderful time. As someone who works at a climbing gym, I was impressed by this gym. At the gym I work at there is a lot of yard sailing that happens (people bringing more stuff than they need with him into the climbing areas) and it kinda bothers me. Tonight, other climbers were very respectful and I saw no yard sailing at all. The mats seemed a little firm to me and I felt a little uncomfortable with the possibility of taking falls. Overall, a high quality bouldering gym that isn't too busy.

This was my first time ever stepping into a climbing gym so I have nothing like that to compare it to. I have been to many gyms though. I had a great experience here! The person at the front desk was kind and helpful. If you are new to bouldering I highly recommend either working with their instructors or having a very experienced friend to guide you. This is not like many other indoor gym workouts where someone can set up your equipment real quick or give you a short few minutes explanation to get you going. It’s worth it though. The feeling you get when you actually reach the top of the wall is amazing (until you realize you have to climb back down, ha! But don’t worry they’ve got these cool rings for that!)If you’ve ever been curious about bouldering go to this place. Then go enjoy a beer at Seapine.

Really great facility. I've been to a handful of places in WA between Tacoma and Seattle and Momentum is by far my favorite. The whole place is immaculate. The workout area has tons of top tier equipment. The staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend for those that have never been climbing before. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I have many great things to say about this gym. The facility is spacious, clean, and very well maintained. More importantly, I feel as though the setting is top notch and very well thought out. I genuinely find it impressive that the setters (M & M) are able to put up such high quality problems week after week, and I know that a lot of the climbers that frequent the gym are very grateful to have access to such an amazing facility. I hope this gym continues to thrive and many thanks to the staff and setters for their hard work.

I had a fantastic experience here as a first time climber. The staff were all friendly and supportive. I took the "Learn to Climb" class, which was helpful and a lot of fun.The facility was clean and easy to navigate. Lockers are free and easy to use. I'm excited to continue climbing with them!

We had a wonderful experience at Momentum. My husband, brother-in-law (experienced climbers) and I (a complete newbie) spent about two hours on a range of courses that were a great fit (and a fun challenge) for our whole group. The staff was friendly, the facility was well-maintained and comfortable, and the onboarding/welcome experience was simple and straightforward. Would recommend to anyone, for a fun day or a longer term membership.

The staff are amazing in how they make you feel welcome. I find the rates to be reasonable and appreciate how they try to offer more deals compared to other gyms so more people can come in. I feel like my fingers get strengthened on their sets. One downside is the mats hold on to the chalk which sticks to your shoes and are stiffer than other gym's mats. However, I see staff cleaning them regularly to reduce the first issue. They have AC and are typically less crowded than other nearby gyms. I'm in love with the spray wall set!Overall, even though it's out of my way to go to this gym versus another I find it worthwhile for the experience.

Fantastic facilities, great climbs, plenty of free parking, super clean, not crowded. There's a study area, gym, climbing, showers, lockers - I can easily come and spend all day here. Only thing that can be improved is the customer service. I came here for the first time on Saturday, and the staff member that checked me in seemed so disinterested in sharing info - and just pointed me towards the video introduction on the tv.

Had a great experience climbing with my kids this past weekend. As usual the gym is amazing and there were problems for all levels and abilities. The other members were encouraging and supportive of us. We had the best time!
