I joined Orange Theory shortly after moving to Ballard recently. The staff has been welcoming and since taking the classes I have started to enjoy running!

Love the vibe here. Great staff and coaches. Nice layout for spacing between floor stations. Super clean, too! Lots of great places to refuel nearby!

I just joined back in July to re-motivate myself to add movement back into my life after a sedentary year and I am so glad I did! Chris, the studio manager, is wonderful - very welcoming and quick to help. My HR monitor wasn't working and he quickly took a look at it and got me a replacement. Most of the classes I go to are coached by Tehr. He is great at correcting my form, motiving me at just the right time, AND making class fun. Plus his play lists are the best. After my first class, Coach Ryan said it I'd rebuild my base in three months and I was pretty sure they were lying... but here I am at 3 months and my base pace is back where it used to be so I guess they were right! I was nervous about how out of shape I'd become and if I'd be able to get a routine back and the staff's kindness has helped me stick to it. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Orangetheory Ballard since January 2022 and I’ve loved attending classes here. When I’ve gone to normal gyms I’ve always had trouble figuring out what to do to get the right workout, but orangetheory solves that problem for me and makes sure I always get a good and fun workout.

Must say the free month is a great feeling. I really like how I feel after a class like this. I would totally recommend this!10/10.Look up OTF on YouTube and look at their science. You don’t necessarily get huge. You get strong. And you feel you can do it after just a few seasons. I know I did.The coaches will help you and honestly if you need a break or to slow down, feel free. Its okay! But stick to it and be ready to push! HeheThey also have showers there (usually). Focus on wins, ask useful questions, and get in there!!!

Hey David! Thank you for taking the time to give us the rating. It was great having you in class yesterday. Remember to take it easy for the first 6 or 7 classes. Build up to going all out in your workouts (pun intended).

I love the integration of heart rate monitors; it really helps me stay motivated to push myself to the level of effort I need to get to, while at the same time keeps me from over-doing it so I don’t burn out or pass out. I also really appreciate that Orangetheory doesn’t skimp on the trainers; they are really helpful and motivational, they help me out when my form isn’t quite right, they give good instruction at the start of the workout, especially for the weight training exercises. I also like the pacing of the workouts; my mind is focused on the task at hand from start to finish. And I also like how no two workouts are the same; keeps my body guessing, and makes it more fun and interesting. And finally, I love the community feel; it gives me another push of motivation working out with other likeminded people, plus it’s more fun working out with others! Thank you for all that you do!

Ryan (trainer) is absolutely amazing! So good at lifting up spirits, especially on days when working out is the last thing I want to do. He corrects form in the nicest way, making exercises less painful and more beneficial for the overall workout. He's always cheering us on by name and has the best music and attitude. Just wonderful!
