I love this location. I've only checked out a few up here in Seattle, and while I think this is one of the bigger ones it's also has such a great energy to it maybe that's because I've been coming here consistently and as you get to know the staff it feels like an extended family. I live a block away I know that parking can be an issue in general but here's a tip, Park a couple blocks north or couple blocks south of Market Street and there should be a unmetered 2 hour + parking. All of the coaches here are great and super supportive and there to answer all of your questions and help you be the best version of yourself. I know that it seems to be one of them are popular Studios so to try and book your classes at least a couple weeks in advance and if you must cancel cancel the night before. While I love all the coaches, music is so important to me for setting the mood so I must admit that I like to book coach Aaron's class the most as he plays EDM and harder Rock.I must insist that if you have a question during a class get the coaches attention and ask that's what they're here for, that's what you are paying for aside from the experience to better yourself and better your form!

I have visited dozens of Orangetheory studios and had the chance to visit the Ballard studio on a trip to Seattle several weeks ago. It is one of the best studios in the Orangetheory Nation, on par with our Orangetheory Athens, Georgia studio. What sets this studio apart, (as well as my home studio), is the talent and commitment of the coaches. Coaches, Kristana, Ther and Aaron know what they are doing in form and control the energy level in the room. The Ballard coaches recognize and connect with each and every member in each and every class. They are 100% member focused. It's a tough job to manage a clock, instruct three different groups and at the same time pay attention to subtleties in speed, incline, watts, weight and form for 30 different people. Most coaches only succeed in a few areas. The Ballard coaches master it all. As a result, the OTF Ballard members are reaching impressive goals as several of them shared with me. Great things are happening at this studio and I trust their success will continue. Well done!

The workout had a good mix of core, some upper body, full body with rowing and lower body with treadmills. Very good coaching. Well organized heart rate monitoring with good overhead visual display for the people working out. Appropriate stretching at the end.

Not only is Orange Theory's concept great for busy working professionals this particular gym has a great vibe of acceptance. 3 months in, I enjoy coming to class. I receive a friendly welcome upon entering the building, happy to see others in my class and also my favorite coaches who always take a minute to check in. I will probably never love working out but this as close as it gets.
