Genesis Health Clubs - Springfield South

Had a vendor event at Genesis on Battlefield rd. Darla was awesome and everyone was so nice.

I been going here about 5 year's. Staff are very professional. Gym pool hot tub are very clean amazing gym.

Love this gym, but all of the lockers are always locked, even when nobody is here. Can you please have somebody come through and open these lockers? Every time I come in I have to scout the locker room for a locker that I can use! I will happily change my review to 5 stars when this happens.

I was never shown around and have been here at least 5 times without checking in at all because no one would even give me a keytag until I had been coming for about 2 months. The upstairs cardio floor is disgusting. It's hot and the equipment and floor are rusty and not one TV in the place works properly. Every time I go to the weight floor I feel like I'm being pushed out by one of their trainers training someone else. The employees of this place seem to be pointless. If there was another gym open 24 hours near me I would go to it.

I have been a loyal member of Genesis Health Club for nearly two years now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The facilities are top-notch, and the steam room is a personal favorite, providing relaxation after intense workouts.The staff at Genesis Health Club deserves a special shout-out for their friendliness and professionalism. They have always been incredibly helpful and accommodating, making me feel welcomed and supported throughout my fitness journey.Moreover, there’s never a dull moment at this gym! The atmosphere is lively, and there are always fun shenanigans and activities happening, adding a unique and enjoyable touch to each workout session.I highly recommend Genesis Health Club to anyone looking for a fantastic fitness center with great amenities and a vibrant community. Unfortunately the only reason I go to this gym is the classes. The instructors are great, I can't say the same about everything else.The facility is so gross. The locker rooms ceilings have brown spots everywhere. There's dust/grime/dirt anywhere I look. I don't let myself take my shoes off and touch the floors anywhere. On top of that if it's not the steam room that's broken it's the hot tub, if it's not the hot tub it's the water fountain. Something is always broke. The ac has been down all summer long. Rows of machines are either broken or super worn down. Pool smells like a lake and the water is some how salty makes me icky just being in the water. Overall this place needs a major remodel/and deep clean. With the money this place charges for a membership they can definitely afford it. Shout out to the day care girls, they're amazing.UPDATE:Genesis has a new manager who got in contact with me and made an effort to try and figure things out with me. I appreciate someone caring enough to listen to what I have to say and work on a plan to make things better. Changing review star from 1 to 3.

Everyone is always so helpful and courteous, especially the new blonde manager. I can't remember her name but always so pleasant.

This gym is really, cool, it has great staff, and a great environment, the only thing that would make it better is if Natalie and Jessica watched a couple episodes of myth busters.

Genesis is one of the best places to workout! I love the friendly environment, the machines, and the shake bar! Natalie and Jessica are my favorite front desk workers by far though!

Best place i have ever been at. This place had the most exotic and incredible smoothies. The gym itself made me feel like i was laying in my own bed. Super nice staff. Definitely would give this gym a shot!
