I was recently visiting St. George for a family vacation and was itching to go to the gym! After doing extensive research, I landed on Elevation. I arrived at 8 oclock and was immediately let in by members. I was told no one was staffing the gym that day, but it's a family gym, and they assured me they would love for me to work out there as a visitor! Mid workout, I was greeted by staff and treated just like family! I will forever go to this gym on our annual trips and recommend it's friendly, gritty, hardworking atmosphere to anyone who wants to better themselves. 5 stars from me! Consider yourselves exceptional Elevation!

I went in to take a look around and stood at the desk for a second and didn't think it would be a big deal to walk around and take a look. Instantly this older woman who worked there came up to me and asked if she could help me. Automatically I felt like I had done something wrong and tried to explain that I didn't see anyone and just wanted to look around. There was someone else standing at the desk before I walked in as well. She seemed offended and said she was right in the office, and came out when she saw me. She was rude, and I decided I was not going to even consider this place as my gym. And as I was walking away she yelled something after me and I said no thank you with a wave of my hand and left. I'm an addict in recovery, and instantly I was upset and bothered by being treated like this after being told it was a good gym for someone like me. Super disappointed and angry with how I was treated. I wanted to go back in and get her name but had a feeling it would start more controversy/argument

This is the kind of gym you want to go to if community is important. The equipment is a little old, the place is a bit shabby--not shiny, sterile, and impersonal like the big gyms--but the people are the best and the prices are unbeatable. I love that they don't add on extra charges for every little thing. If you want to go where people cheer you on and know your name, this is your place. Seriously, check it out!

I deleted my review being selfish before I moved away from Saint George. This gym gave me a family and gave me a purpose. I was just too stupid to see it.This is more than just a gym. It’s a community of people that love each other, and I miss it every day.I had a suicide attempt after the passing of one of the members. I’m not currently recovered yet, but I like to think of the good old days at this gym when I’m feeling sad.Trust me when I say, this is the best gym in the entire world.

Seniors Beware!I'm shocked by the way my mother-in-law was treated by the management at this facility. Another patron offered to trade her machines so she could be next to her friend and the female manager came out and made a huge scene, yelling at her and told her she could go somewhere else. She is 88 years old, went there daily and made many friends. If other patrons were uncomfortable with her looking for 2 machines together, the situation could have been handled with more tactfulness. She was humiliated by the way she yelled at, and did not deserve to be treated the way she was.I've read the owner response and would be interested in seeing the 'recording'. I really don't think she made up being humiliated in front of everyone. If a discussion was necessary, it could have been handled in a more professional manner.
