The kind owners of Elevation allowed some cast members of Tuacahn Center for the Arts to hold a dance class in their aerobics studio, even while some of the individuals who took the class weren't members of the gym (myself included!) Thank you, Elevation! You run an excellent business and fine service for St. George! :)

I love going to exercise at EVALUATION IN ST GEORGE. The staff is so friendly and the senior exercise class with Clair it is wonderful. They have silver sneakers program, also your own key to get in and exercise anytime you want.

Very helpful and friendly ownership! Good selection of equipment of all kinds, resistant training, cardio room, free weights, circuit training area, and a kick boxing/martial arts room. Great mix for everyone! Friendly environment with a great mix of classes as well, yoga, spin, Zumba and more. Plus!! It is very inexpensive! I highly recommend Elevation!

Elevation used to be a gym for serious athletes. Now it seems to be a haven of children, retirees, and spin classes.Looking at the other reviews, they seem to reflect positively on the gym for amateurs who don't know what they're doing and only occasionally need the most basic equipment. If you just want basic fitness instruction and will only go to the gym to quiet your personal guilt, this gym will serve your needs admirably. The gym, however, fails to meet the needs of lifters and those who are there to use the more technical equipment. The mat room is no longer 24 hours, so don't expect to do any late night cardio on a bag there. Apparently you can't be trusted in that room without employee supervision after 7 PM.A (I'm assuming) personal trainer has a large group of 13 or 14 year olds he frequently brings through. They are uncourteous, loud, leave equipment lying in the way, and do not pick up after themselves. His behavior reflects that of the other trainers I've observed there, lacking professionalism. Some of the trainers there are so out of shape that I'm astonished they manage to convince anyone to pay them. The frequent classes in the gym's two extra rooms (a mat room with boxing/martial arts equipment and a wood floored room for yoga and spin classes) have first priority for the gym facilities. That would be fine, except that the classes are not operated by the gym itself. They occur at somewhat unpedictable intervals and take up their respective spaces for hours at a time. The smoothie bar is a joke. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use it, and anywhere that serves rockstar energy drinks isn't catering to athletes. The gym also has no showering facilities, and only the barest changing area. Don't expect a personal locker. Its location is also extraordinarily inconvenient for much of the St George area.Overall, I've come away unimpressed after my 10 months or so with this gym. It may be fine for a new years resolutioner who will only visit a handful of times in any given year, but managerial failures should put this low on your list if you are serious about your fitness.

Used to workout here, but decided to cancel my membership because of the environment and equipment. I firs started there because it was closest gym to my house, but a lot of old people go there to workout, I found myself waiting for equipment to be used because it is a fairly small gym, and there just isn't enough bench press or squat racks. It has most of what you need, just not everything I was looking for in a gym. I would recommend other gyms that are a little bigger than elevation fitness.

This May makes it a whole year of doing the kickboxing class with James, I love how he brings the kid out in us and pushes my slow brain to think . I get a fun workout in that class. I love the dedication of the owners and how they always make me feel at home. Tam puts on a great bootcamp and is doing a class for spartans , I love her. There is all kinds in this gym, makes me happy to see a wide variety of people accomplishing more then those sitting at home. Thanks elevation fitness for being the best gym for so many of us. So happy to be apart of it.

I was looking for an exercise class that would be vigorous enough to push me but not so hard that I hated it and also one that was fun. Clara in the Senior Fit Club provides that. She is aware of people's strengths and gives options in some of the exercises to accommodate our differences. Each day some of the exercises are a repeat, some are new for variety. She gives us tips about health and seems quite knowledgeable about the best exercises to move us forward. Clara is welcoming and I enjoy her humor. I initially purchased just 3 months membership to be sure I could find what I wanted at Elevation Fitness, I just purchased 9 more months. Clara is a great instructor. I highly recommend this class.
