After 4 months, I am withdrawing my membership. The management here is absolutely garbage. I was just completely lied to several times by the managemebt of this facility! The fact that I couldn't get into the parking lot or out just to work out the ENTIRE time I've been a member is INSANE! For some reason there is a disconnect from corporate to the management here. None of them have the tools to succeed nor the training. This is club is not to Genesis standards in any way!

In from out of town and they wanted to charge additional fees to use the gym. Genesis continues to be a dishonest and exploitative organization. There are cheaper options that can do the same thing for you without the headache.

ZERO STARS for management. The facilities here are great top notch, and if you can check it out when traveling or get a deal, great; But fair warning, DO NOT enter into a contract here! The management is ridiculous. I'm a former employee, I used to work here when it was under a different company and continued to work for a bit when it became Genesis. I left on good terms. However, months later I am now being charged for a membership for which I have no signed contract with them and the GM Jalen is insisting I come in person to sign a cancellation for this membership. My husband had worked out here for months after my employment and he signed paperwork to cancel his membership months ago simply because we couldn't afford it anymore. They told him to his face that his membership was cancelled. Jalen is now telling us that the membership has been in my name the entire time (since I was the employee there) and that he actually has no paper trail of my husband signing a cancellation. My employee membership was a benefit to my employment and NOT a contract yet they are charging me as if it was and insisting I come in to cancel it. They have not shown evidence of the 'contract' membership they say I have. I have had multiple conversations with Jalen detailing the errors of this and have made no progress. I am trying to get my money back from the past few months (since the time my husband signed a cancellation). Getting ahold of anyone at the corporate level in this company is impossible, none of them have direct phone numbers listed and the VP of sales will not respond to my emails or calls (and I've been persistent for a couple weeks now, it's not like it's been one day). And I'm a former employee who left in good faith! And they are charging my credit card monthly. Without a contract. Don't give them your card.

My biggest criteria for any gym is the abundance of squat racks, platforms, benches, etc. and this place delivers. Not sure if it’s just COVID keeping people away but after a few weeks I’ve yet to encounter a wait for anything, even during “peak.” Ample dumbbells (two sets of each for the common weights), plenty of cable machines, huge turf training area with TRX and even more dumbbells, the list goes on. And all those more minor accessories that experienced lifters look for when they want to mix it up with variations? They’ve got those too. It’s clean and the atmosphere is great— high ceilings, good lighting, cool views of BPV and the city.If all you need is cardio equipment, spend $10/mo at Planet Fitness, because you won’t end up using most of what OneLife has to offer. But I’ve paid more for less at other gyms, so if you’re looking for a step up and don’t need a pool (literally my only complaint, but hey) you won’t do better than this spot.Five stars from a 6day/week gym rat.
