The gym itself has great equipment, but the manager here is very unprofessional.It is clear to see that she is power hungry and it overshadows her ability to do her job.I moved out of state and two months before hand I talked to two employees about canceling my membership because they do not have a gym in the state I moved to. I was told no problem, just need some proof you're moving. Showed her a letter of intent for a job and she emailed me that the contract will end within 30 days of your last payment. Which unfortunately was not the case and when my fiancé and I reached out the manager she said, the girl who terminated our membership isn't allowed to.Well how are we supposed to know that? Why do we pay the price for that mistake? It gets worse... we also had emailed her previously and she never emailed back and it had been 3 weeks and her response was she was on vacation... again we did everything on our part? Why is this continuesly coming back on us? She said the reason she can't cancel the membership was because there wasn't proof? A letter of intent and a new address isn't proof? DO NOT SIGN UP HERE BECAUSE IF YOU EVER HAVE TO CANCEL THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE.

We love this gym! The staff is very friendly and professional. It's very clean, the cleaning crew is always busy cleaning the floors and machines. There are separate Ladies/Men workout rooms, the main gymn is equipped for all your strength or cardio workouts.

I've tried them all... Lifetime, PF, LA Fitness, etc. But for me, Edge Fitness just fits right. Clean, nice amenities, fun classes and an awesome staff. Austin and Tori are super friendly, and Amber makes the best shakes! I'd tip if there was a tip Jar. Glad there's a gym like this close by.

I was one of the first people to get a membership here and I have the founders shirt. Even through Covid this gym has been phenomenal. The environment the staff and the friendliness is unimaginable. I’d like to specifically give props to Amber who makes this place even better that it already is!

Cancelation policy doesn't seem rightI absolutely love this gym, the equipment is top notch and the staff is amazing. The only issue I truly found is the cancelation process. You're only allowed to cancel if you move further than 25 miles or suffer a disability with proof from a doctor. So be warned if you plan on joining and then want to change to another gym you'll have to wait until the contract is over to cancel. I'm not really sure why would a great gym like Edge would have this policy.

Gym overall is one of the best around. Fantastic equipment and overall workout experience. Biggest negative for me is the lack of cleanliness, specifically in the men’s locker room. They don’t seem to properly clean the bathroom area throughout the day and extreme emphasis on lack of sauna cleanliness and maintenance. On numerous occasions massive pools of sweat accumulated on the floor as well as benches and are just left without any type of partial sanitation throughout the day, it seems highly doubtful they do any sort of cleaning on the sauna benches (even a basic wipe down). One specific instance there was snot previously left behind by a member on the bench, which was recognized by every individual entering the sauna, and to my disgust was still present when I went in the following afternoon. When mentioning this to another fellow member that day, they replied “I’ve seen the same thing on the urinal walls over a couple days”. I understand it’s impossible to diligently clean after every member use but some routine effort cleaning/sanitizing throughout the day of the sauna and locker room, more than just mopping the floor around lockers, would be nice considering present times. The gym is very very nice outside of this, and I cannot say if this an issue shared for the women’s locker room.

The gym itself is overall very nice. It's a shame that none of their staff seem to have the same information regarding their contracts. I had to speak to several people about wanting to cancel my membership, where one person told me I couldn't unless I had a medical condition or moving, whereas months later someone told me I could pay it in full which is all I was trying to do the first time. That person told me to go into the facility to do this, and I drove 25 minutes to find out that their "policies changed" no more than 2 weeks later and I now had to talk to someone on the phone to cancel my membership. No one there seems to have the same information. Their location on Hall Road was also supposed to open MONTHS AGO, and has yet to be opened. Overall a disappointing experience and I will never be back there nor will I ever recommend this gym to anyone.

Best gym in the Troy/Sterling Heights area! The gym equipment and locker rooms are clean and well maintained and the entire staff is very friendly and courteous. They are willing to go the extra mile to answer questions and help you out!My wife and I have also signed up for personal training with Mike, who is an amazing personal trainer. He is extremely knowledgeable and pushes you to your limits to meet and exceed your fitness goals!My only criticism would be to have more fitness squat racks and leg press machines! It may be that everyone is on my leg day schedule but a few more of each would be great! :) But all is all, this gym is amazing!

Really nice and clean gym. Love the price for what you get. But already had issues with this club from the beginning.First, when I signed up I was suppose to get my first month free and get a $20 gift card for referring people. Well I didn’t receive any of that and talked to multiple workers about it there and they never helped me.Second, when trying to cancel my membership I had to call a third party that deals with the financial part. I had to send in an email with all this kind of proof of me moving and my license and wait 3-5 business days to hear back and now I have to wait 30 days for them to completely cancel my membership because they want to make sure I’m being truthful.I’ve never ever had to deal with something like this. I’ve gone to planet fitness and lifetime fitness and I’ve always been able to go to a worker and have it canceled right away in the facility.They have some work to do. Very flawed system.
