I'm a black card member and this isn't my home gym but their showers are not up to par they cannot keep a constant temperature my 5 minite shower went cold over 6 times

A couple of machines are out of order, but there are 2 of both of them. Other than that, it's about average for planet fitness. Has a TRX area, unlike a couple of other locations nearby.

This place was shut down cause of covid for a while and during this time the annual membership expired but they weren't open to come in and cancel or send a letter in wouldn't do any good either. (The only ways you are allowed to cancel a membership for some reason). So because it's on the gym and not on the customer in that situation it would cancel out at the end of the 12 month term. But shady businesses don't take responsibility and so as soon as the restrictions get eased up this place opens up it starts billing again with no notice of any kind.Fast forward a couple months and the first letter sent in some how doesn't make it the couple miles to their location so the next month following another is mailed before the next withdrawal is scheduled to take place. To no surprise they bill again even tho when going into the location on the same date that it is withdrawn from the bank account this time, reveals that the account has been canceled (meaning the gym got the second letter with the date of termination authorization). So when asked why after receiving a cancelation is it still billed for the month to come the counter employee says that it is set up in their system that a week prior to the withdrawal it is set to take it out and that they can't cancel the COMING BILL even if your cancelation is already in effect and the membership is now invalid.It doesn't fall on the customer if planet fitness billing system isn't effectively taking into account the date of cancelation and adjusting accordingly. Taking funds from someone that has closed their account before the next billing period is theft. And it is no excuse that the automated billing doesn't take all parameters into it accurately. If the new billing period isn't in effect for another 1-7 days people should be able to not get billed cause the date has not come yet and the cancelation date has. They can cancel the membership at that date but can't cancel the withdrawal of funds at the same date?This is also after not using any services for over ten months - but that's on the customer; if they sign into an agreement and don't partake in the options available to them. And also past the 12 month term that has additional cancelation fees associated with it. This is the second time I've witnessed this company do this to people (in two different locations).The bank is opening an investigation into this but it won't change the shady practices in place at this location and others. This didn't even happen to me but to someone close to me that has fallen on hard times because of the shut downs and doesn't have money for these crooks to steal. Even if they did - this shouldn't happen to anyone. Consider yourself warned.

This is my new hangout!!! Me and the kids love going here! The staff is polite and helpful, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I can go here and get all sweaty without being embarrassed. Judgement Free Zone!!

Shower:After using a few facilities, I found out that some provide liquid soap and some don't.Otherwise, well maintained, organized, clean facility with fairly new equipment... and friendly staff.I forgot my mask but one was provided for me upon entering. Thanks.

Only use this gym for cardio. They have so many machines that it never gets crowded. This important to me because of Covid 19. I'd like to stay healthy and safe from any type of illness. Risky to go in and workout next to others but overall I feel comfortable here. I see the employees doing a great job sanitizing machines and keeping everything Covid free. Thank you.

Make sure your cancellation goes through. I just called to find out why I'm still getting charged after not being there for over a year, and cancelling when i did leave. The person who was supposed to cancel me didn't do it right and i started getting charged again. I was just told that they don't do refunds, which is only insane because it can't be a refund if you were never supposed to charge me in the first place. I was told the manager would take a look and get back to me but what I got was a confirmation letter for my cancelled membership dated today. Two stars because they do have functional gym equipment.*Edit to update: I did get my refund of 3.92 even though the most recent charge was 39.00. Would like to reiterate for the response i got from the Onwer that I was told the supervisor would call me (with the phone number i gave for that specific purpose) and i never received such a call. I don't need it, but it hardly makes sense to recommend i call a supervisor when I did call, asked for a supervisor, was told the supervisor would call me back, and then did not receive a call despite acknowledging my call by sending me an incomplete refund.

So I finally got brave enough to go back to the gym. Not too much has changed. Same low cost which is great. Some folks wear mask (I do) and others don't. But it hasn't been crowded the days and times that I go. Folks pretty much try and keep distance. Just wipe down your equipment before and after, and have a great workout!

I love everything at Planet Fitness. Beauty Gel Hydrogel and chair massage The 30 minute fitness workout is goid when you have limited time to work out. I love to go here everyday but my coach told me yo do the workout every other day.. The staffs are so polite and helpful. I am recommending this gym with my family and friends.
