Professor Noa is an amazing BJJ Practitioner, Teacher, and Father. He is a great role model for students of all ages in the humility and dedication to his craft that he shows. I have trained BJJ for 12 years and I am currently a brown belt, having traveled the world with the US Army I have encountered many teachers of the art. Professor Noa is top 5 out of over 150 black belts I have met and trained with. There is no other gym in this area I would personally want to train at or bring my kids to other then Legend. It was a great pleasure working with him to hone my own skills both in BJJ and off the mat in my life. Thank you Professor Noa and the team at Legend.

I’m spending a few days in Tacoma traveling and wanted to get some training in. Still very new to Jiu Jitsu (4/5 months) and this was a great gym. If you’re newer to jiu jitsu or looking for a good environment where you can get some good looks, but not have anyone try and blow your knee up, I would recommend this place. Thanks to Noah for the instruction and for the legends students for making me feel welcome and helping me grow in my practice. Cheers!

Great school! In all the places I’ve trained in the past 4 years this is the first place I decided to lay roots. This group has become family, the teaching is solid and the members are respectful and welcoming. I’ve learned more here in the past year than all my other training. Professor Noa is a great teacher with a great attitude

After my first class I signed up for the rest of June because I felt welcomed and comfortable immediately. Seems like a really nice tight knit, friendly group that I can learn a lot from... not to mention Noa is an amazing teacher. Excited for more classes!

My son has been training with Professor Noah for a few months now and LOVES it! He has learned so much in the time that he’s been training with Legend and has gained a thirst to get better!! The new facility is amazing as well! I highly recommend this place for all ages!

Professor Noa is an absolutely amazing instructor. I was visiting from California and stumbled across the Legend Jiu Jitsu Academy and was more than pleased! Professor Noa is highly knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and overall outstanding instructor. The students were all respectful and a pleasure to roll with as well. If you’re looking to improve your ground game and get a good sweat in then you should not miss this academy.

I started back up doing Jiu Jitsu after a 10 year break. I’ve loved the last six months I’ve been apart of Legend Jiu Jitsu. I’m glad I made the decision to start up and found the right place to learn. We’re a close knit family and welcome everyone new or old to the sport with open arms. Professor Noa is friendly and amazing at giving us one on one guidance when we do live rolling. He ensures that we practice with everyone and rotate so we learn a variety of different styles of opponents. I highly recommend Legend Jiu Jitsu and encourage you to come in for a free class.

I have trained internationally at numerous Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools. I would place Professor Noa Moke's instruction with the best instructors and schools that I have trained within. He fosters the Pacific Island warrior spirit into his students. His instruction and concepts are easy to understand, drill and apply for the beginner and competitor. Although the facility is newly renovated, the Professor brings decades of time tested Jiu Jitsu to our mats each day. His practitioners greet and welcome all new students and create a positive atmosphere amongst all ages and genders. In addition, his children's classes are also exceptional for bully proofing, creating confidence and developing junior leaders. His students include military, first responders and personnel who want to learn self defense and stay fit. I highly endorse this facility.
