Becky helped me through a season of debilitating back pain due to an impinged disc. Her expertise in assessing form and muscle weakness is remarkable, and she really focuses on gently restoring strength and mobility. I don’t know where I would be in my recovery without her help and guidance. Her care definitely helped me avoid surgery and I continue to benefit from her Pilates class.

I was originally seeing Becky for physical therapy and once I “graduated,” was sad not to have the opportunity to continue to work on strengthening by body in a safe and effective manner. When she started teaching pilates it was a perfect fit to not only train safely without re-injuring myself but also to continue to build strength, flexibility and form whils having fun!!

I went to Physio for physical therapy (which was wonderful, BTW), and stayed on for the pilates classes. Becky seems to know just how far to push the class, always provides options for those of us who need modifications, and gives us personal adjustments. I only wish the classes were available outside of work hours!

Not your typical PT office and that's okay - better than okay - it is awesome! Located inside a shared space gym in Downtown Tacoma - Dr. Becky isn't stressing about getting so many people in that your care is neglected - it is truly one on one - just you and Dr. Becky or Leah - focusing on YOU and getting better and back to your healthy life. Dr. Becky is attentive, innovative (Pilates based PT!), and listens not only to you but your body as a whole. Leah is a great compliment to Dr. Becky in that she is able to mirror the plan and make adjustments to the session as needed. Jen is friendly and engaging when you need to call the office and switch up appointments or set up new ones.

I will only go to Physio Movement and Performance for my physical therapy needs. I went in to see Becky because of shoulder pain that wasn’t getting any better. She did a thorough evaluation explained the “why’s” of each exercise she had me do. After several weeks of therapy, I went from having very limited range of motion to being able to do 6 pull ups.I love that Becky really listens to your needs and is very knowledgeable. Becky practice what she preaches and is always trying to find ways to learn more on how she can help her patients.

Amazing experience, these women (Dr. Becky and miss Leah) made developing strength and working to be my better self more enjoyable than I ever thought. I had a wonderful experience and couldn’t ask for better!

Becky and her team have helped me recover form an Achilles tendon tear and have done an amazing job. As an athlete I struggled going to several other physical therapists but at Physio they pay very close attention to detail and not only for the injury recovery but also how to prevent future injuries. I can’t recommend them enough!!

Mat Pilates with Becky (and twice Leah) has been such fun and my now go-to twice a week workout. I completely trust Becky and Leah because their knowledge of body mechanics is first rate. I am getting a great workout in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and know I am not at risk of injury! Highly recommend!

I have seen Dr. Becky and her team for both my knee and my shoulder in the last few years and both experiences have been amazing. This team has the best patient care and most detailed treatment plans of any PT practice I have ever seen. In the past I have had a "cookie cutter " PT experience with other practitioners. With Dr. Becky Rucker I feel like each exercise is structured specifically for my injury and my need for growth in particular movement patterns that help me get back to doing what I love!

Great experience! I had been struggling to rehab my knee following surgery for a patellar tendon rupture. Becky assessed my injury and went right to work. She left me with practical steps to take that have really help to improve my ability to move. Can't say enough about the standard of care at Physio Movement & Performance!
