Excellent room for real people, whether you are seeking advanced competition training, fitness/ self defense, or the camaraderie that inevitably forms with training together, T-Town MMA is your place. The gym and leadership are exceptionally well established and respected in the community. The teaching is presented by a variety of black belts, so there is certainly a style that will work for anyone offered.It can be intimidating to step into an MMA gym, but T-Town MMA is incredibly welcoming and inclusive while still offering high-level instruction.

I have been training at T-Town MMA Checkmat since 2011. Great instructors who really know what they are teaching. Great classes for people of all fitness levels and goals. This school has wonderful connections within the community. Everyone here will make you feel like family while teaching you amazing martial arts skills that can be used at the highest level of competition. They also have an excellent kids program. Just drop by and try it out!!!

Great place to train and get a great workout! They have everything from fitness classes kickboxing and jiujitsu! They even have a great kids program for jiujitsu!!

These guys are the real deal with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I have been a part of T-Town MMA for over 10 years now. So much diverse experience in one place. We fair quite well at tournaments too! 2nd in Adult Team Gi and 3rd in Adult Team Overall in the Revolution on 3/3/2018.

I jumped into jiu-jitsu and so glad I discovered T-Town first. The instructors/coach are well versed in the martial arts and the passion for teaching shows. If you are looking for just a workout, a place to train or just thinking about trying a kick boxing/Brazilian jiu-jitsu, stop here first

I've been a member since 2008. Great place to learn something useful and get a good work out in. When I started out I weighed 215 lbs. I walk around at 163 now. The coaches are friendly and patient. Good place to train whatever your experience level is. Would definitely recommend everyone to come and check it out!!
