I enjoy going and getting my workout done. No aggravation and nice staff and some of the people you meet there are nice, as well.

Have not been for a while due to pandemic. Went in the other day to recon the area. TEAM is masked and wiping down area. Remote log in helps with 6 ft precaution and touch less access.

A large, clean fitness center with plenty of machines. Only complaint, they only have 4-5 Smith (fixed barbell) machines to do squats, bench press, shoulders, etc. There are no free standing barbells in the place.

Clean and friendly...but too much cardio equipment and not enough free weights/cable machines. Free weight area and machines are always so packed at times that are convenient for working people, while cardio area is a ghost town. Not saying to not have cardio area, just that it shouldn't take up half the gym. Please expand weight training options!

Saturday 5 am. The woman at the reception totally hooked with her phone, couldn't mutter an even "good morning". Her male companion equally oblivious with others as well. Seems like they feel entitled to get a paycheck by being useless and unfriendly. I was taken by the fact showers were dirty and restrooms unclean at that time of the am. These two really make this place unwelcoming. Maybe their boss should take their phone from their hands or else replace them with someone alive.

I was honestly super nervous about going back to a gym after I put on my pandemic pounds, but the employees are all so kind and helpful, and all the patrons pretty much seem focused on themselves and getting their workout in so my anxiety went down pretty immediately. PLUS! The hydromassage bed is the most Amazing thing in the world!

I have been to many PFs from South Carolina, to Miami. My experience has always been an enforced "judgement free zone." Creating a safe environment for everyone to better themselves, I have encountered staff that have booted people out for bullying, I have seen memberships get cancelled. However, N Monroe, Tallahassee needs to do better. This is not a safe environment for everyone, privacy is not respected. Two young women were caught, and admitted to taking pictures of a stranger in the locker rooms without their consent. Posting the image to their social media, while giggling, as an act of shaming someone trying to better themselves. The staff, let these women stay there after the complaint was filed and "gave them a warning." Allowing people to record others in private spaces such as locker rooms is unacceptable, there should be a no tolerance rule in order to protect everyone. Not only is this a form of bullying, this also puts people(including minors) at risk for sick voyeuristic postings to adult websites. Does this location want to be on the P.Hub as "Hidden camera in locker room brunette underdressed with friend"?Get it together, and do not allow this behavior to be tolerated.

Pretty good gym for the price, easy to sign up with a click of a button. But if you want to cancel you'll have to unfortunately go to the gym to cancel. Which is weird because you can easily click a button to sign up, but to leave it's a different story.

TLDR: Clean, friendly, too busy. This review is specifically for Planet Fitness on North Monroe. This gym is pretty much exactly what you can expect from a Planet Fitness. The staff is friendly, the gym is actually very clean, even the bathrooms. There is always a staff member somewhere picking up weights or restocking the cleaning spray. Most people that go here also clean their machines after they use them.With that said, this Planet Fitness is waaaay too busy. On top of that, the cable machines, as well as other machines, also break quite often. As of this review there are 3 cables that are out of seevice, which leaves only 5-6, which is not enough. Around 5:00pm this gym is not even worth going to because there are so many people, and so few free weights (dumbbells, barbells, etc).Overall, you get what you pay for here. If you want great lifting equipment, you have to find somewhere else. However, if you want a friendly gym to get in shape, PF is perfect for you.
