24 Hour Fitness

Recently went in to workout and dealt with individuals not adhering to mask mandates, when brought to the attention of employees they did nothing to rectify the situation. One employee even stated she doesn’t care it’s not her job. It’s sad that during a pandemic that could cost people their lives, this company did nothing to make its members feel safer

The inside of the club was very clean right after the opening after the pandemic. Now the club closes at 9, and does not open 24 hours, as before, but it seems that the club is not cleaned at night. The equipment is dirty, the floor is dusty. Despite the fact that customers use a sanitizer and wipe the equipment after themselves, this still need professional cleaning at night, but this does not seem to be happening.

The staff is nice, and I see they added a floor in the parking structure, but there’s no chance of social distancing in the weight floor. It is a literal breeding ground for Covid-19. The equipment is literally one foot from each other. I don’t understand why that is. It may be “outdoor” but there’s no way they follow protocol for the weight room floor. The way they had it before was perfect. I’m not comfortable here. Again, this is a literal breeding ground for Covid-19.

Okay so I have been a member of many gyms in my lifetime, but I have to say that I am truly impressed with 24 Hour Fitness Del Amo Torrance. It is a spectacular facility with tons of state of the art equipment. No waiting for a bench or station here. Erick K. is the general manager and he is the consumate professional. He goes above and beyond to make your training experience awesome!!! Absolutely excellent customer service. I have recently incurred a shoulder injury and when I casually mentioned this, he immediately offered to apply his massage gun to try and alleviate my pain.I have to tell you that this is without a doubt the best and most professionally managed gym that I have ever been to. Beautiful facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff, tons of equipment and parking.Do yourself a favor and talk to Erick K., he will take care of you.Sincerely,Leekai,Super satisfied customer

I had 3-day pass, got online, I plan my Thanksgiving weekend around that and the person at the door does not allow me to the pass, he said they are not allow 3-day passes during the high season, November and December, but I got it online where it says use it before November 30th. I wanted to try the gym before I commit to one year membership deal for the Black Friday. This is unprofessional scam and false advertising on their website or the man at the door is from some other story.

Great experience for my first outdoor without! Good set up! Plenty of equipment to get in a his workout and it's in ther open lower sub garage level. Lots of disinfectant and napkins available to clean off your equipment.

They close the basketball courts for "maintenance" often even if only 1 rim needs repairs, which is part of the membership! This location is always packed and it's hard to use the machines or weights you want as well. Also if you stay over 2 hrs you have to pay for parking!

Great facility. Two floors. State of the art equipment.I would have give. It 5 stars were it not for the following: not clean enough, staf is uninterested in keeping sanitizing bottles full, paper wipes supplied . But most of all : the members , refuse to honor the club rules by wearing a mask!!! I mean we just came out of a pandemic, we’re not done yet. Over 600,000 died and you can’t wear a mask ? I have complained many times . Few attendants take action. For a health club, the implementation of their own rules falls short. And you, who refuse to wear a mask , are indifferent to the health and safety of others. You should be ashamed. Please go somewhere else if you simply cannot master respect for club rules.

Cleanest and best maintained as well as best managed franchise location of all of the 24hr fitness centers I've been to. Having a 24hr fitness ultra membership I've visited 24hr fitness location across the United States and this location is by far the flagship of all, this location should be used as a business model for other locations to aspire to be. Other locations have parking structures that reek of urine and trash, ie hermosa Beach location and Santa Monica location, all 24hr fitness locations should require their respective managers visit this location and take notes. 📝 🗒 two kudos and a bravo Zulu 👏 for exemplary work ethic and attention to detail.

The staff treats me like a VIP! I used to go to the gym everyday until the pandemic hit but I then didn't go for 3 months. In the beginning I could go by appointment then the officials put a stop to that. Now I found the outdoor gym. It's almost got all of the equipment I use. It's great and I love the staff. Thanks 24hr fitness for treating me like I'm important. It's great to be sore again. I used to not get sore but since the lull in my working out I'm sore now. It's a reminder that I worked out. I love it.
