PF is a great gym, until you try to cancel. I haven't used my membership in nearly 2 years. I've moved an hour away since, so coming back in person to cancel is not practical for such a simple thing. The only other option, send a letter. You cannot cancel online. You can update your contact and payment info, but can't cancel. Really!? Last time I had this much trouble cancelling was when I had a pager from Metrocall back in the 90's. Way to treat your customers PF!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Dear Owner: I just got off the phone with my bank and have stopped all future debits from occurring to my account. One way or another, you will not receive any more funds from me. The customer service representative at my bank is very familiar with Planet Fitness and indicated she has personally handled numerous calls about their customers having issues with ending their PF membership. I'm sure all these people are glad you have protected them from any "mistakes" in ending their membership. Yes, I had to pay a one time $30 fee to stop the monthly billing from you. The peace of mind is worth so much more! It's sad that businesses resort to these tactics to keep their income stream. I spoke so highly of PF while a member and recommended it to many people as it's a great value. The way you treated me at the conclusion of my business with you is just plain wrong. I hope my review serves as a warning to others who may choose to join Planet Fitness.

Planet fitness does what no other gum does.... Allows any member to show up and get the workout or stress relief any time and any day,night or morning they choose. They help track your progress and the employees keep the gym looking, smelling and feeling like new. The massage equipment is excellent and the freedom of use is unlimited with the "black card". I like that the gyms are many in diffrent locations. The best to part to joining this gym is the price tag!..The membership pricing is hands down the main reason to just join. I feel the freedom to join a health club gym without the long term financial burden. There isn't much of anything to lose in this small investment but the weight that only will increase for the lack of no exercise.Thank you planet fitness for coming through for all of us! I go to school and I don’t have enough time in my day to go workout, Planet fitness has come in clutch, they are open 24/7 letting me workout at anytime I like weather it’s late in the night or early morning before school. I like that they have mostly everything you could find in any other gym with the exception of the pool, but the low affordable price makes up for that. Overall, they have a friendly staff who are willing to work and help you out.

Gyms are competitive nowadays. This place does not offer WiFi ... gas stations offer WiFi ... everyone has WiFi ... they have WiFi but it's only for staff. Then if you want to cancel they play this game that you can only cancel in person ... I got called out of town on business ... and now they tell me I can't cancel the membership unless a friend of mine goes in and cancels it for me. That has to be the dumbest policy designed to manipulate your credit card into paying them I've even heard of. Take a look at your options before signing up here, I wish I had.

This was my first time going to this location and 6am on Sunday has NO crowds of people.

I signed up for the black card membership for 22.99 per month. The benefits include: bringing 1 person anytime, access to all centers, 50% off Gatorade and water, hydro massage and chair, 20% off Reebok's products and tanning machine, and much more. Most of the centers are large with plenty of machines, lockers, and showers.

The staff is amazing the only issue is the equipment doesn't get heavy enough being that I've been to a lot of different Planet Fitness is they are very inconsistent with their weights if they could just up the weights on some of the machines I would give it a perfect five

Like the gym and the staff has been nice. Problems are that they close early now, are very busy from 8-10, and way too many people not wearing face coverings. If they can't handle a mask, maybe they could use a face shield. But I don't feel comfortable working out around so many unprotected people. Seldom feel like going anymore. Don't let what happened in West Virginia happen here, please. Maybe have separate sides of the gym, for covered and non covered or enforce the rule better. Make your own face shield with your logo on them and sell them.

Love the environment and staff there, (frank) very helpful and willing to give some tips/advice if needed. I like the fact no one judges you and your able to workout comfortable. Keep it up will recommend my friends to frank and location

Judgement free zone...tell that to the employees!!!! I used to love this place but the staff has changed for the worse. This one female worker just stands there watching me run and talking about me and my gym clothes. I can literally hear her and another working talking about me. This has happened multiple times. I hate gyms like this.
