Love this place. The employees are amazing, professional, and are always on top to keep the equipment clean and maintained. People inside this gym are overall friendly.

Not as bad as the other Planet Fitneses you would expect. In between 10$/month costs, virtually always have parking, and lots of stores and food places nearby, its better than 24 hour fitness (which has horrendous parking and a long walk up)

Affordable, clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Not the most advanced equipment but a strong value for the low membership price. No hard selling or pushy sales tactics here.

I enjoy my time there. A few things needs tobe upgraded, to compete with other PF facilities. Over all, this gym has all the basic machines needed, for a good work out.

Loved it when I first moved over here from LA Fitness as it wasn’t ever crowded, but now that masks are no longer required it’s gotten busy and it can be nearly impossible to get into the free weight area as it is fairly small compared to the bigger gyms. Even at 11pm.Addition - I appreciate the reply from Planet Fitness. I wanted to reply but apparently I cannot so I have to add on.I do use the app, and the crowd meter is my favorite function on it. It helps me plan out my late morning or late night workouts, depending on my schedule. But also the app is showing how much busier it has gotten since masks have been dropped. Really the only solution as far as I can see is to expand the free weight area.

I really like PF gym's staff at this location. (Torrance, CA). They're really nice. At least the night staff is. I usually go with my friend at night time during the week. Maybe Saturday nights, but mostly at night on the weekdays. I also like that they have multiple options of the same machines, so if someone else is using one, there are 4 more available to use. I also really like the HydroMassage beds. I like that it let's the user pick different options based on the area/muscles that might be sore. That is very helpful and useful. Also, I like that the touchscreen is accessible to easy to touch on. I don't have to sit up or hold my neck a certain way, unlike at the Inglewood - Imperial Hwy location in CA, I have to hold my head and neck a certain way to be able to touch the touchscreen. I really don't like the Midtown PF location in CA. The one on Venice Blvd. They have way too many cardio machines and not enough muscle focused machines like my home gym, the Torrance location. I did like the manager at the Midtown PF location, he gave me a free PF gym bag when my original one broke two different ways. So, that was the only thing I liked about the Midtown location. But ultimately, I highly recommend my home gym, the Torrance, CA location.

For safety purposes I’d like to say that there is one male staff member from the 2-11 shift that consistently stares at females. This behavior is not only disgusting but needs to be addressed. I would describe him as shorter in stature, with frizzy longer hair & not athletic build. The unfortunate reality is that I saw a post about this and I feel like it’s the same person & nothing has changed. Management please do better.

Solid gym for the money they want per month. It's usually clean, most equipment works most of the time, cleaning stations are mostly kept stocked. There is a definite age to the machines when compared to other planet fitness locations I visit across the country. When a machine breaks down it will stay that way for a while. Had an instance where the club, which is a 24/7 facility, was simply locked on a random Monday morning... Lights on with nobody home. So, it's great for general fitness, just don't look for any frills and be prepared to adjust your routine when machines go down. Free weights are decently maintained, reasonably good selection, with enough benches to go around.

Overall, a good gym. It would be nice to have another row of weight machines in that open area by the front door. Some disinfectant wipes instead of the spray bottle and paper towels would be more convenient as well. Get the app to determine how crowded the gym is at certain times via the "crowd meter".
