Master Mark Swingle and his team taught me not only self-defense skills but also discipline, focus, and ways to stay fit and healthy throughout my life. The skills I learned there have carried over into every aspect of my life, making me a better person. Karate has a special place in my heart, and has played a role in over 10 years of my life. The things I've been taught from karate didn't only show for physical activity (though, that is a BIG plus)! Everything I've learned has been reflected in the way I view myself and others, and how I approach teamwork, discipline, leadership, and self-control.Sensei Swingle is not only an amazing instructor, but one of the most down-to-earth, kind, patient, and caring people! It is such a great and inviting place. My daughter loves going to each class and looks forward to going. Very accepting and accommodating team. We are so glad to have found a place that works for our schedule, budget and most of all that makes my daughter happy. Our son has been with Karate Fit USA for the past 3 years and we are extremely happy to witness the growing confidence and composure he has developed through these years. I joined the Karate Fit USA family at the age of 65. My experience has been amazing and I have gotten much more from these classes than I could have ever imagined. My fitness level has increased unbelievably. Sensei Swingle has instilled in me an incredible level of confidence and drive. I always look forward to going to class. He has encouraged me to learn at my own pace. He and every black belt member encourages me and helps me to achieve each of my goals as I move through the program. I have trained here for over 18 years. Originally it was for building strength to overcome childhood asthma and confidence. I stuck around for the atmosphere. Sensei Swingle has always been a kind, welcoming but firm teacher that has helped me greatly with my martial arts journey. I was also thankful for the encouragement to come back into martial arts after taking a break and being able to get my 3rd degree black belt.
