Had the pleasure of training with Sensei Swingle for several years. His passion for the martial arts is boundless and you can see the joy he has in sharing his knowledge with the students. He and the Karate Fit USA team are patient and encouraging with all the students. Karate is a great sport for all ages and Karate Fit USA is the place to learn!

My kids have been going to Karate Fit USA for a while now and it has been an amazing experience for them. Master Mark Swingle and his team are wonderful with kids of all ages. They have a way of making learning karate fun and engaging, while also teaching important life skills like respect, discipline, and perseverance. I can see the positive impact this has had on my kids both on and off the mat. Only wish they were open more hours so I could send them their even more.

Our 5 year old son had been attending Karate Fit for over a year now and our experience has been wonderful! The classes have been fun for him and have provided the right amount of structure and discipline to keep him engaged and focused. I started training back in July of 2008 and have been doing it ever since! Currently I am a third-degree black belt, looking to test for fourth-degree in May. Karate Fit USA has helped me so much throughout my life: it has helped me mature and develop into the person I am today, has grown my confidence, as well as has let me improve my fitness and maintain it for the active lifestyle I have now.Sensei Swingle and all the other instructors want you to succeed here, and will patiently work with you to help you get better and make you feel like you're not just a number, as they have with me. Karate Fit USA has a clean, respectful, and welcoming environment, and students of all ages get along and love working together. I was lucky enough to further my martial arts journey by becoming an instructor, and it has helped me additionally with 1. getting better at human communications and 2. public speaking and confidence. If you are looking to start or continue martial arts, as well as improve yourself overall, I couldn't recommend Karate Fit USA enough!

Great studio and excellent leadership. My son started when he was three and has continued on - he's 10 now. Very thankful to have found a place that truly cares about the students and is dedicated to supporting all.

I’m very satisfied with choosing Karate Fit USA LLC of Lawrenceville for my grandson to learn Karate. He enjoys it and looks forward to attending the classes. The chosen staff makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. My daughter and son-in-law are happy with the choice as well.Sensei Mark Swingle is an excellent teacher, passionate about what he’s doing and is very patient with the children. He is encouraging and teaches the children when to be serious, when to stay focused and when it’s time to play. My grandson has been a member for about two months and you can see the difference. I recommend this facility.

My older son started when he was eight years old. Six years later, he is still going strong and loving karate classes! Instructional staff at Karate Fit are excellent. The Sensei and Leadership Team members really want every child to succeed in class. While classes have a focus on conditioning, line drills, and katas, staff reinforce skills thru relay games, obstacle courses, and mini-competitions. This allows kids to be focused throughout the class and get excited about transition to new activities. Staff usually end classes with mini-competitions of who can kick the highest, for example; it is really great witnessing the students cheering each other on to reach a little higher on their kicks.While the instructors and classes are awesome, real highlights each quarter are board breaking sessions and the belt testing itself. Students can buy boards to break during the session and the Sensei work with students one-on-one to develop, practice, and execute the routine (e.g., axe kick, palm strike, hammer hand) to break the boards. This is a great opportunity to put into practice what the students had learned and to experience success; kids always leave these sessions, whether they broke their first single board with a stomp kick or broke two three-board stacks with a double-hammer hand, with huge smiles on their faces. Likewise, I never felt the belt tests were a pass/fail activity but a learning experience and an opportunity to continue improving and advancing in the belt ranks.My son is now focusing on earning his black belt in the near future. My boys have been attending Karate Fit USA for over 12 years. The instructors are all so kind, patient and fun. They really are amazing with kids. My boys have the highest respect for Sensei Swingle. Karate has helped my boys build more confidence, gain strength and flexibility all while improving their overall health and well being. Since they have been attending this school for many years, it also has greatly improved their leadership skills. Sensei Swingle is very dedicated to his students and is a true master in the art of Karate. I can't recommend this school enough!
