I love this gym I have been a customer since they first opened. Very clean and very friendly staff. The only thing I wish they had was a leverage squat machine just like how they have at the Oracle location. Having more benches that can be raised up and down would be nice too, since they are always in use. Other than that, this is a great gym highly recommend.

Fairly nice atmosphere, and it's a good deal if you have the basic $10 membership. The theater is nice if you want to pay to watch movies while you workout rather than doing it for free at home (that's only half sarcastic, it's like an actual legit little theater). The equipment in the gym is nice and well maintained. The primary reason I joined was for a specific rotation workout that I have not been able to complete a single time because people will either stay on one machine using it for the entire time or simply use it as a chair and literally sit in the middle of the circuit and text or stand there talking to each other and not move rather than just staying in the locker room or the parking lot...Eventually most people who actually want to use it seem to give up and go somewhere else. The gym has rules like no loud grunting, dropping weights, etc. and directions for how to use the circuit, but since I've never seen any of the employees anywhere other than all gathered together behind the desk, there's not really anyone enforcing them throughout the gym. If you want the basic equipment and individual machines or the classes work for your schedule, you can't beat the deal for the membership price (although mark your calendar for when they hit you with that $100 annual fee to make up for the low monthly rates), and for the higher price you can bring someone with you every time and get some perks like tanning and hydromassage beds. It's not a bad place at all, and my lower score is due mostly to my personal experience of not being able to do the one thing I joined the gym to do and none of the employees doing anything to even attempt to control it. Depending what you're looking for, this could easily be a great gym for you.

You need to wear a mask to get into the gym and then you are allowed to take it off for your work out. I counted approximately 40 people in the gym and eight not wearing a mask. This is after the most recent reopening. I have made my concerns known to staff a number of times verbally and in writing. It's not worth risking my life to work out here. I cancelled my membership.In reply to the response from Chuze; I have a better idea; why not freeze the memberships of the people breaking the Tucson city ordinance and exposing every law abiding patron to a potentially deadly disease. Why not fill your establishment with law abiding people who care about the welfare of other people? As you can tell I feel strongly about this. I am an RN of 37 years. I have lost two very lovely patients and a coworker to COVID-19 so this is very real to me. Any difficulties your staff have enforcing a rather simple requirement is slightly less than the difficulties my patients and coworker encountered. Why not make a real effort to have people wear a mask and potentially save someone from a miserable, horrifying death while isolated and alone on a ventilator?Respectfully submitted.

Chuze is a good Gym no complaints , the gym is nice expct the woman's shower it looked like it needes some assistance. I had to leave for family call forgot to tell the Chuze employee. Overall experience is Amazing 👏 Thank You to all the employee at Chuze …

Small gym so it's always packed. With only two regular benches and squat racks good luck ever finding one available. Treadmills often stick when running causing you to almost trip.Other than that it's usually clean and a decent place to work out.

The Chuze Fitness off of 16th and Ajo is extremely clean and well supplied for wiping down the gym equipment after use. I feel very safe exercising at this location. That's coming from someone who works in a very busy pharmacy. The staff is very friendly and informative! Keep up the great work and stay safe!

I've been working out at Chuze for some time now...sadly I have to drive across town in order to workout at Chuze as I refuse to go to the one on 16th Ave as it is always packed. It seems this particular location has turned more into a meeting place or hang out spot as people tend to stand around talking, not even working out, just standing by the machines not allowing others to use them. It's more of a social club and not a gymnasium.

Everyone who works at this gym is great, it’s clean all but the only thing is they need to add a couple more benches and squat racks for a gym to have as much people come to it as it does. It would be nice to have the few more benches and racks where some of those treadmills are sitting taking up space downstairs and upstairs. That’s the only thing I got really

I absolutely love this gym its always clean and every employee here is so helpful In the 2 years I've been coming here I have never ran into a rude employee they are always smiling and ready to assist you. The steam room at this location makes me enjoy it that much more. All their trainers are amazingggg also I've never done a one on one training with a trainer at any other gym but the trainer's at this location are so friendly and nice that i signed up with Chuy he is so amazing and takes the time to hear what your needs and wants are and is ready to help you reach your goals he will always be my go to trainer. Overall this is an amazing gym with such awesome and helpful employees and by far the cleanest gym i have ever walked into. I will never step foot into any other gym their prices are reasonable i pay $20 a month and i get so much out of that package i love it. Thank you Chuze for being so amazing and to all of the employees thank you for being such an outstanding staff and making everyone feel so welcomed at this location and always going above and beyond. You always make every visit to the gym such an amazing experience!

The price is great! I've been with the club 2 years. This particular location I'm not too fond of. It feels like I'm at a daycare. The showers are dirty as is the workout floor. Only 10% of people clean their equipment after use and I've never seen the staff do regular walk-arounds to clean. 2% of people re-rack their weights. Sadly this review is based on multiple visits at different times. Of you want a cleaner location I highly recommend the oracle or swan locations.
