Great gym. Not crowded. Equipment seems to be working fine. The hand sanitizers and paper towel stations seem to be in need of maintenance. Looks like some equipment was removed from the wall and never replaced or just not cleaned up afterwards.

This is a 2 story gym with the weights upstairs. The booming when barbells are dropped echoes through the bottom floor. The staff is nice, but have not been able to mute the tvs in the ladies locker room. The noise added to the music piped through the gym has caused sensory overload and anxiety for for both me and my wife. I wish they would change it.

Pool and jacuzzi are always dirty. There was a time where and old lady tool her dentures of and rinsed them in the jacuzzi. lockers seem to be cleaned once a week. Saunas and steam rooms are gross since some ppl think it's ok to go in with there shoes and sweaty gym cltohes. People need to shower and where slippers but syaff does bot regulate. There is always a stair master that broken. I thought it would cleaner for the price I paid but I guess it's not the case here. Also a lot of ppl don't wipe down there sweat of the equipment. Which is pretty gross.

This has gotta be one of the filthiest gyms I’ve ever been to. Showers look like they have never been cleaned….ever. Trash cans are filled to the brim. I don’t think morning staff does anything at all besides open the door at 5am. That’s an absolute joke as well. 24hr fitness but they’re only open 5am-9pm. Place has taken a serious nosedive.

General manager Jessica has very poor customer service at this gym. From someone who preaches great customer service and what I now know are fake smiles and greetings when you walk in, the way she handled my situation was very poor and sad. I ACCIDENTALLY spilled my chalk and poor Jessica had to come upstairs with her team and clean up the mess, a process that took 15 min. But as soon as she came up, she threaten with terminating my membership if I used my chalk again when there are plenty of other members who use chalk. There was spilt chalk prior to my arrival and I have used my chalk for all 2 years since their reopening and not once had it been brought to my attention about using chalk at this gym. The gym recently hired a cleaning team, who by the way are a great team, and they have NEVER complained about my use of chalk. When Jessica began to clean up the chalk she was literally launching weights around almost hitting another member who was close by and did not care to display a disgusted face about the situation over an ACCIDENT! For someone who expects her team to drive customer service, to be rude to members was disgusting and very hypocritical. Definitely not what is expected from a “manager”!

This gym has a great variety and quantity of equipment with welcoming staff. Not all members follow good gym etiquette, so it would be nice if there was a little signage or something on the tv screens encouraging consideration and respect of others’ workout and space. Apart from that, it hasn’t been difficult to find less crowded times to get in a workout, even with a busy schedule, and the gym seems well-maintained.

I visited this gym while in Ventura for a conference. I emailed the manager expressing my dissatisfaction with the experience, and she never responded, so here was my email to here detailing the issues. Avoid this place.First, I had to wait 10 minutes at the front desk because your front desk couldn't get anyone to come up front to help me. He said that they just didn't care about helping, and eventually he called a different person - in my experience I've never had someone other that the front desk person do check ins.(2) I asked for the 3 day free trial advertised on your website and was informed that because I have an out of state license I didn't qualify. Then I learned that the only option I qualified for was a $25 day pass. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS. That blew my mind: standard rate for guest drop ins is $10, and $15 at the most. Because I just rode a rental bike here from the hotel, I wasn't about to go somewhere else, despite this ridiculous drop in fee.(3) I was working barbell overhead press and when looking for barbell clips I realized there wasn't a pair anywhere near the racks or platforms. In fact, I couldn't locate a single pair of clips anywhere in the weightroom. I've never trained somewhere that didn't have a single set of barbell clips. This is not just inconvenient, but a safety issue.(4) When I moved to the dumbbell area I found the benches are bolted to the floor, which I've never seen before. This isn't a big issue, but it can still be inconvenient.(5) The benches are the highest I've ever used: at 6ft tall, I could barely touch my feet to the floor on an adjustable bench. I can only imagine the issues your shorter members have.(6) Because of the spacing between the bolted benches, if someone moves a free-moving bench between them, suddenly the two to the outside are too close for all three to be utilized at the same time, which I experience myself.(7) The dumbbell area had plates and dumbbells laying all over the floor. Members don't put away their weights and there are no staff members cleaning up the equipment.(8) There was horrible cell phone service in the club.(9) I'm receiving emails and texts I didn't wish to have sent.(10) The Locker/bathroom is filthy. Dirty mirrors, countertops, and floors. Visible clumps of hair in the hallway are disgusting.I would like my $25 refunded to my Visa ending in 3733. If it isn't refunded I'll be posting this to Google reviews. I strongly recommend that your staff makes improvements to this facility. Your equipment and facility is aged, and all it takes is a newer commercial gym like Crunch to open up and put you out of business.

The deal going on now is great! But have to admit. They let the facilities go a bit. Sometimes pretty dirty. They're absolutely under staffed. Also, it seems like you can't get an employee to clean a bathroom, which is ridiculous! Part of running a gym the the cleanliness. Both the Collect (OXN) and Pacific View Mall (VEN) locations are usually am messed up. If you don't believe me. Contact me and I'll point it out. Other than that you get to use all the equipment. Which is pretty nice. When it's not broken or need repair. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It’s nice to get back to almost normal. It’s clean and not too crowded at 6:30 am when I go. Staff seems accommodating.

Things are getting back to normal. Virus rates have gone way down. The gym has an area outside to work out in. And most of the inside has opened up. Locker rooms and showers are available. Thank God. The treadmills are set up so that there is a space in between each user. Masks are mandatory. All the machines are available. But you have to spray and disinfect your machine after each use.
