Worst gym ever. Was approached by multiple members while I belonged who were offering illegal steroids blatantly and in front of gym staff. Cancelled my membership almost a year ago, and they are still charging my account for fees even though I have not attended since that date. When I realized I was still being charged I called in to resolve the issue and even though the gym admitted that they had a cancellation request on record, and that I have not attended the facility since that date I would not be reimbursed for the charges. Manager was very unprofessional and argumentative on the phone. She had said that the gym had tried to contact me via voicemail about confirmation of the cancellation but I never received them. Total scam that does not stand behind their word. Stay away from this place.

I’ve been to just about every gym in town had a membership to every one of them at some point or another and let me tell you -This place is in a league all its own when it comes to achieving your goals and making a plan for success. You won’t find the personal attention and a customized plan they make -just for you-anywhere else. Tracy Josh and Frank just about cover all aspects of my fitness plan whether it be nutrition counseling, every day work out routines and covering body stats. Everyone there works as a team to get all their members reaching their goals. Someone is always there for support But also checking up and reaching out -they have so many support systems in place there! It’s a lifestyle plan not a diet plan and they really do a great job simplifying some thing that I always thought would be very complicated and too time consuming. Cant recommended enough

This is definitely the best gym in town. I love the fact that everyone is so friendly and helpful. I was physically disabled for so long that I was terrified of stepping back into a gym. From day one Josh,Lindsey and Tracey have made me feel right at home. I am especially thank for Nico for all the help and support he gives me in the early mornings! I would recommend anyone who is looking for a great gym to go check it out. It’s more than just a gym, it’s a family!

Best gym in Ventura! Open 24 hours. Has a great staff and owners that are very hands on. I highly recommend their training programs.

Tracy, Josh and the Team at BSF hands down have the best gym environment, music is always on point, chalk deadlift bars, posing room, the best machines, facility is always spotless and maintained!

Amazing gym. I’m a big fan of everything they stand for. Management cares about fitness and health above all. Also, keeps my fiancé sexy and busy.

Love everything about this gym! Great equipment, fantastic hours of operation, and friendly staff. Not to mention the clean towels and meal options available. Super happy!

Was briefly a member of this gym approximately two years ago. I took a chance on a small “mom & pops” gym as a secondary gym. Canceling my membership here gave me so much stress & anxiety as the manager/owner was so “catty” and unprofessional and made the process almost impossible. Have decided to write a review due to their stance and opposition to the limitations imposed by the pandemic efforts. This gym has decided to stay open during the mandated lockdowns and defy CDC guidelines, all while encouraging their members to not wear masks while in the facility. I’m disgusted by these actions, especially being a LA County Critical Care Nurse and seeing patients young & old, with and without commorbidities succumb to this virus on a daily basis. COVID is not a hoax, it is very real. Working out and being lean Is very helpful, but it will not be the sole immunity protection for this disease.
