The PC ventura team is welcoming, informative, and professional. Sean helped me quiet a lot getting situated and getting started and clearly communicated the process via text and in person. He was informative and patient.I toured a good number of studios, gyms, and classes. After visiting 10, I came back to PC excited to sign up and get going. Some of the main things I like about PC (that other places were missing): centric and easy to get to and with enough parking; early classes with many options throughout the day; clean and organized facility; online and effective announcements and scheduling app -- everythingis online; and effective, diverse, and friendly community and staff.

I joined Persistence Culture after a 2 month hiatus from CrossFit. This gym was great in helping me scale as I built up my strength. Everyone is so nice and the gym is extremely welcoming!

I can confidently say that this gym has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and supported by the incredible coaching team and the friendly community of members. The coaches at Persistence Culture are undoubtedly the heart and soul of this gym. Each of them brings a unique set of skills and expertise to the table, making for a well-rounded and comprehensive training experience. Among the standout coaches are Austin, Sean, Enel, Lorena, Todd, Rey, and Ryan.Todd has been instrumental in helping me improve my shoulder mobility. His attention to detail and personalized approach have allowed me to address my mobility limitations and work towards pain-free movements. Thanks to Todd's guidance, I feel more confident and capable during workouts that previously caused discomfort.Rey, on the other hand, has been a game-changer for my Olympic lifts. His in-depth knowledge of weightlifting techniques and patient coaching style have helped me refine my form and lift heavier with greater ease. Rey's dedication to perfecting lifting techniques has translated into significant improvements in my performance.Sean's expertise in overall movement and knee mobility has been invaluable. His ability to identify and correct movement patterns has not only improved my athletic performance but has also helped me prevent injuries. Sean's commitment to fostering proper movement mechanics has made a noticeable difference in my overall fitness journey.Apart from the outstanding coaching staff, Persistence Culture offers a wide variety of challenging and engaging workouts. The programming is well-structured, ensuring a balanced mix of strength, conditioning, and skill-based exercises. I appreciate the diversity of workouts, which keeps each day exciting and prevents monotony. The gym itself is well-maintained and equipped with top-notch training tools, providing everything you need for a productive workout session. Moreover, the community at Persistence Culture is incredibly supportive and encouraging. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a beginner, you'll find yourself surrounded by like-minded individuals who push you to reach your full potential.

I was immediately welcomed at Persistence Culture from the moment I walked in. There are athletes of all fitness levels, and we all work out together, which is super motivating. I've been able to continue my fitness journey with my new CrossFit community and coaches. I really appreciate how flexible the training is. You can join a class or do your own programming at open gym. There are many classes and program options to choose from. I've been enjoying both the CrossFit programming as well as the Persistence Peaches Classes, which has helped my build my strength. shout out to coach Giselle! I also enjoy the social activities, fitness challenges, and supporting our local business's of the month. Good Vibes all around at PC!

I’ve been a member of PC for three years, and after 10 years of CrossFit, I can say that it the best CrossFit gym I’ve ever attended. The coaches are skilled and the workouts are hard but approachable for all fitness levels. The facility is clean and the equipment is well maintained. The best part, however, is the the people. Everybody in class is always encouraging and the environment is really fun!

Persistance Culture has a great facility, coaching staff, and members. The management team definitely has put a lot of work into the culture aspect of the gym. I purely choose this gym off meeting a couple of coaches, which I wasn’t disappointed after getting to meet more coaches and the community they have cultivated. The coaching staff have been helpful with options for scaling the work outs based on injuries. I’d like to put a special shout out to Coach Todd for his energy he brings into his classes. If you’re looking for a gym to grow with in strength but also with community then this is the gym for you. Glad that I decided to give it a shot. Don’t take my word for it, come try a free class and decide for yourself how great it is.

I joined Persistence Culture in February and ever since I’ve been happier, healthier and stronger. I look forward to every workout with a smile on my face. It’s a great community to be apart of aside from work, family, etc. something I’m grateful for. Everyone is truly amazing. The coaches are all so special and knowledgeable. It makes me feel good knowing I’m in good hands and have that 1:1 guidance specific to where I’m at. Coach Giselle does an excellent job at teaching and programming the Peaches class. I feel like every class has a great variety of movements and all with a purpose and goal in mind. During each cycle she has a target for us to be stronger and more confident for that specific movement/area. I am loving the results and aim to never miss a class. Coach Josh also teaches Peaches and he’s very friendly and offers great guidance and motivation to us. Lastly, there’s Coach Todd for when I do CrossFit and he’s amazing! Great energy, passion, and truly there to see everyone push themselves and overcome the intense moments of a workout.Like any business its all comes down to the people and from the coaches, staff, and community it’s been nothing but a wonderful experience. If you’re ready for something new and want to grow you need to check Persistence Culture out!

As a small business who, over the years, is lucky enough to work with the amazing staff and all the members of Persistence Culture, the first thing that comes to mind is over all friendliness and a total class act in the fitness world. Coaches Christian, Enel and Sean are attentive and on the ball. If you are looking for a great place to find health and fitness, plan a visit to Persistence Culture (in Ventura, Moorpark and Camarillo).

Not just a gym but a home, where you’ll find your second family. The coaches are the best out there. They listen, they care, they want you to succeed. I look forward to my daily visits. Clean, safe and friendly environment.
