We came to Vertical Journey in search of an activity to help our boys build esteem, confidence, respect, discipline and active listening. I can honestly say that this is hands down the best thing my husband and I have ever invested in for our boys. They are more confident, happier and doing better in school. My husband even joined to stay active, and he loves it. TJ and Jamie are great with the kids and parents, and they are good people who care about you and your family. They are the kind of people that always welcome you with a warm heart and a kind smile.

Signed my kids up to stay active during the summer, and ended up staying enrolled longterm. I myself even enrolled into a class, realizing i need to be active also, and grow mentally and physically. Awesome people and instructors.

My son LOVES learning Taekwondo at Vertical Journey! Mr. TJ is amazing with the kiddos. So patient, kind, and caring of the kiddos, all while teaching self defense and discipline. I recommend this place to all my friends 1000%!

My kids love training at Vertical Journey! Mr. TJ is great at motivating the children to learn new things, and he works hard with them to ensure they keep growing and developing the skills they need to advance in their understanding of tae kwon do. It's a lot of fun, too!

Perfect! I scheduled a self defense workshop for my teen daughters and their friends and TJ and Jamie did an amazing job. They were professional from start to finish and extremely knowledgeable, but also very, very engaging, caring and fun. Pro tip: Schedule their longest session because your kids won’t want to leave.

We have loved our experience with VJMA! Our daughter has grown in life skills- TJ gives lessons on life skills that are age-appropriate that I use outside of class like courtesy and self-control. TJ is gifted in working with kids- is playful, yet holds to focus. The classes are very affordable as well!
