Today was my visit with Joel and it was one of the best workouts I have had in a long time. I am recovering from elbow surgery and he specifically designed a plan to help my elbow recover and not put it in jeopardy. It was a complete full body workout and I highly recommend it for athletes as it’s not just about weights but also about how we move and how to move better to get better results on the field.

This is my third time at 1822. The instructors are great, thorough, and I even got to meet the owner today. They are very passionate about what they do and make everyone feel welcome. The community during class is very nice and I love the workout style. Most circuit training studios are 45 mins but here you get a full 60mins always with a warm up and ab exercises. Definitely will be going back again.

I brought my son to an orthopedic at 6 years old with concerns regarding his left leaning posture and protruding shoulder blade on one side. I was terrified when the doctor started evaluating him for scoliosis. A second opinion gave me hope that what he was experiencing was muscular. I was told that as he got older and worked out, the imbalances “may” resolve. At 14, I signed my son up for 1822 Fitness. Coach Joel Molina set a foundation that my son has been building on now for almost two years. With Coach’s extensive educational background and experience, he was able to correct all the muscular imbalances, help him to gain body fat percentage, help his agility and increase substantially his vertical jump in addition to weight training. I am so grateful that my son signed up. He comes home in a great mood and feeling energized. My daughter has suffered from a few knee dislocations. When the doctors recommended surgery, I did not hesitate to sign her up as well at only 11 years old. I know in time, she too will build the muscles/address the imbalances to prevent future dislocations with the expertise 1822 Fitness has to offer.
