Awesome place to work out! Coaching is top notch! Jimmy’s knowledge is extensive. I have the discipline to show up, but he provides the knowledge to get the best results and no injuries!!! Meeting my goals every day!

Coach Ben is fantastic - so thorough and particular with workouts for my body type. He is also great about making my schedule work for him. The gym is big/open, clean, welcoming and a place where you can really put the work in to get better. Highly recommend private training and group classes. 10/10.

My experience training with Ben at El Cid fitness has been great!He is so thoughtful and passionate about training and nutrition. During our training sessions he is very good about giving feedback and keeping the workout fun but at the same time challenging me and adapting to what works best for me personally and his training goes beyond just the coaching sessions. Ben has made time to have conversations about nutrition and provide insight into how to choose the best way of eating for me and has provided so much information about making small and big changes in my lifestyle that have a huge impact and that will last long term.I’m always excited to walk into the gym for a training with Ben because I know I’m going to push my body and learn how to properly and safely execute exercises and weigh-lifting.In a short amount of time of working with Ben I feel so much stronger and can see so many positive changes in my body and my knowledge about health and nutrition has grown immensely.I definitely recommend El Cid as a gym and if you have the opportunity to work with Ben definitely take it!!

El Cid fitness has provided the best ‘drop in’ experience of any gym Ive visited in the past. The equipment is fantastic, the facilities are immaculate, the members are welcoming, and the coaching staff is extremely knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit for your fitness needs in the area.

I had the chance to work with Coach Ben at El Cid Fitness where he worked with me one on one to focus on my specific goals. He is very well versed in lifting as well as nutritional guidance. I saw results within a couple weeks. Highly recommend!

We joined the gym, working with a personal trainer, while we were in town for our winter break. Our trainer is great! Every time we were there she was excited about our sessions and was very encouraging. The other trainers and members were welcoming and made us feel like long-time members from the first day we were there. It was awesome. Can't wait to go back next winter.

The El Cid Fitness center is awesome. I love the atmosphere there. The facility is top notch.In particular, words cannot express how wonderful Ben Porter (El Cid trainer) is. He is incredibly bright. He helped me completely alter my food intake to the point I no longer had anxiety about what I ate. Rather I had gained a confidence in knowing how to eat properly.Furthermore, Ben improved my strength to the point where I was finally able do a pull up.Perhaps Ben’s best qualities, however, are his ability to motivate and encourage an individual to stay consistent with training and eating habits as well as adapting to a trainee’s journey.For example, I developed tennis elbow which made certain lifts impossible. Ben reached out to multiple specialists in the sports medicine field and reworked my fitness plan to accommodate my injury.El Cid is an excellent place to improve your physical ability any Ben is an outstanding trainer to have if you’re so lucky.

You will never find a more clean, neat and organized CrossFit gym anywhere. Have a CrossFit buddy who has been to 17 different boxes around the world including Portugal, Spain and multiple US locations and has reported to me that this is the best CrossFit box he has seen. Great coaching, great atmosphere

Join El cid gym for a 3 weeks while visiting the area. A very welcoming and friendly team. It had all I needed (I work out alone) they also have the option of classes which my husband loved. During my time there I witnessed them training new mom's and older clientele too, its inspiring. Overall would recommend!
