I started my fitness journey with Rocio on September 22, 2020. I am 51 years old and had never exercised consistently. It scared me how weak my body had become with age. I was having significant issues with hip bursitis. In addition, I was concerned about my bone density. I belong to a gym, but that is just not my thing. Then I discovered Pilates and Instructor Rocio Ponce. Rocio is an exceptional teacher. She is knowledgeable, caring, fun and elicits commitment to growth. Her diverse background in Dance, Pilates, Yoga, Aerial classes, Belly Dance and so much more really brings a creative element to her teaching. Each class is different and that keeps it so fun. Before I knew it, I was completely invested in my fitness journey and set goals for myself. It has become a life changing journey for me. I hit my weight goal on December 26, 2020. It took 90 days to lose 19 pounds. I’m not stopping though. I will set new goals. If you want to transform your body and develop a lasting fitness lifestyle, I highly recommend Rocio Ponce Fitness. Invest in yourself!

I’m one of Rocio’s senior clients. I have an artificial knee and live a very sedentary lifestyle. Roció has truly jump started my fitness program by doing what I call “cardio Pilates.” The Pilates limbers me up and wakes up muscles that have been dormant for years. And the pace is fast and helps work up a sweat. Rocio’s energy is infectious and she’s never boring because she changes up the routines constantly. I’ve been going to her for 2 months now and not one repetitive exercise yet. I truly believe that with Rocio my knee will get stronger and her belief in me will lead me to a more active lifestyle.

I've been taking Rocio's pilates classes since August 2020. I have several injuries including a major knee injury and back problems. She gives modifications that take in my strength, ability, and injuries into account so I can get the most out of each session. My strength and flexibility have significantly increased since I've started. She's engaging, upbeat with great playlists. She does mat pilates, reformer, and TRX, and always looking for new ways to challenge us. Requests also welcome.

Rocio is my personal trainer and she’s been training me for quite some time three times a week. She’s my favorite trainer! I have noticed how I progressively keep the strong, and I never get bored because my private sessions are always different, but my goal is always there. She keeps me motivated, and that helps me to keep going. During these times where Covid19 is dangerous to all our livelihoods, Rocio emphasized the importance of exercising to strengthen the immune system. She was right, and I feel great. I am always excited about my training sessions. Rocio knows so much about the anatomy of the body, and she knows exactly what you need. A few days ago I told Rocio that my back was hurting. She immediately performed some post-injury rehabilitation work on me, and oh my God, the pain went away. I just can’t believe it. But at the same time, I can definitely believe it, because I have a trainer who knows what she’s doing. Killing it everyday!!
