Anytime Fitness

Stopped by on a Thursday but the hours posted on the door are inaccurate. I found out from the call center the # on the door sends you to. Call center told me they forwarded my info to a manager and they’d contact me in the morning. It never happened so I made an appointment for Friday via the call center during hours staff are supposed to be on site but no one showed up after knocking and waiting about 10 minutes. The call center couldn’t really do anything. Anytime Fitness is ironic, no?

Edit: I got a response from the owner shortly after posting this. I must say, the gentleman was gracious and apologized multiple times after listening to my concerns. I did not ask for anything as far as refunds or complimentary memberships. Still, I was offered 3 months of membership at most cost. A nice gesture for sure. A couple of pieces of equipment could still be updated but after finally speaking with the owner I have decided to change my rating and write this edit. Better communication will key for the franchise and it seems like they are actually working on it. I plan on extending my membership.First off don’t schedule an appointment you’ll be waiting at the door until whoever is in the office decides to come out and look at the door by chance. The owner apparently never gets messages. Haven’t been able to reach him by email, the cooperate number who said they would have him call back or the franchises phone number. I’ve a spoken to employees at the location and left messages with them (they can’t do much without the owner apparently) and on the franchise voicemail. Still no response. The facilities are basic and the machines could be maintained better (cracked padding on machines, sanitation towels not always stocked, etc) but they fit my needs for fitness purposes. My issue is the incorrect billing never being addressed, I stopped caring after the 5th time trying to contact the owner/manger. When my wife signed up and payed for 3 months in advance and she couldn’t get anyone to give her a key fob to get into the gym is my issue. She still has net gotten a response. It’s been two months. Really, really poor customer service. No matter how convenient this place had been for me this past year the customer service, price and quality just aren’t worth it. I wonder if this will get us a response?

Open 24 hours and convenient from my home. This place is not crowded with enough exercise equipment.Slow Gymnastics or commonly called as Yoga need to ask about it.My third year at the GYM. Keep calm and carry on!

Very small space, with couple people the gym gets crowded. They don't have necessary machine every gym should have some of them are broke they never got fixed. I wonder if they ever spend money on cleaning bathrooms are gross they need some deep cleaning, for a whole year they never had paper towels. I'm allergic to dust the second I walk in I start sneezing my eyes gets itchy and red. They don't have any deals very expensive.

Everyone is committed to doing their own workout and super respectful. No creeps or wanderers. I use this gym mostly in the night and I feel safe coming here! I love the studio room where I can do my own workout in peace. I have no comments regarding equipments since Im not that picky. Bathrooms are clean.

Member for 2+ years and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The gym has a great selection of equipment and everything is always extremely clean and well kept. The staff at this location really go above and beyond and are very friendly and attentive. Their response to COVID has been phenomenal between masks, online scheduling, and constant sanitation of the facility, it makes it a very safe environment to exercise in. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I was a member of another Anytime Fitness location and decided to check out the Four Seasons location in December, 2018. I am so glad I did- I haven't looked back! Devon and Sam are so friendly and knowledgable, they made me feel right at home. The gym members are so friendly too - I have made so many great friends. Tyler is an amazing trainer, and I really enjoy taking the group sessions and Personal training sessions with him. The AF workouts are fantastic and we get new workouts each week. So, with a warm, friendly atmosphere to work out in, coupled with great workout programs - I couldn't be happier. Thank you to the staff and other gym members for the support you have given me with my work out goals. I actually look forward to working out every day! - Krista M

Great gym, clean, not busy in the off hours and plenty of newer machines and newer power rack and smith machine. This gym is much larger than the other two in newark, and offers discounts to veterans when signing up that other gyms couldn't or wouldn't match. Gym owner is very conscious of what type of gym person you are, whether it be a social workout, all business or a mix of both and he will approach you or greet you accordingly. They have classes and groups as well as personal trainers for the more novice members. Overall my time was great, the facilities especially the bathrooms were spotless for the most part and never had any odor, the shower areas were extremely clean as well. The equipment as a whole was much cleaner than some of the other gyms in the area. Only reason im still not a member is because my studies took me out of the country for the next 2 years but if given the opportunity to live in this area again I would join back in a heartbeat.(big tip) Devon the gm is a big fan of old school hip hop so if you're into it he thoroughly knows what he's talking about and really has passion when talking about music.Don't hesitate to join the gym if you're looking around for a new gym.

During our travels we have been to countless Anytime Fitness gyms throughout the country. However, our time at Four Seasons Anytime Fitness was exceptionally good! Devon, the owner, greeted us the moment we walked in. Easy to talk to and very genuine! You can tell he cares about providing the best experience for his customers! The layout and equipment is top notch! It’s well lit and the place is spotless. If we were local to Newark we would definitely be consistent members! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant environment to workout in!

I recently visited this location and I was blown away. I am from out of the area and the anytime fitness facilities in my area do not compare! The staff, Sam and Devon, are awesome. They were so friendly and made me feel welcome; they were actually out in the gym interacting with their members. I got a very homely vibe! The facility itself is really clean and organized. The restrooms and changing rooms were clean and smelled really awesome! That was a big one for me because most gyms smell like locker rooms! I was motivated from every aspect of the gym! Whenever I am in the Delaware area, this is my gym of choice! If you live in the area I highly recommend you join the greatness at Anytime Fitness 4 seasons with Samantha and Devon!!
