If you’re looking for a great yoga experience in Chadds Ford, this is your place! Amazing instructors!

This studio was not for me but it might be for you. Here's why:1.) About 19 classes a week are listed as Bikram Beginner Yoga - but aren't actually.I took off the stars mostly because the Beginner title on the classes is misleading.2.) Seven of these classes are instructed by Leo and are definitely not "beginner." Leo has a following- his classes are full. I found him to be a decent guy but not much for allowing accommodations/modifications. I did not feel confident or comfortable in the classes I took with him. He does have a book though you should buy it- oh go to the class- he will tell you himself. (Believe it or not he has some for sale right there! You are so lucky!)3.) I enjoyed Michelle's class! I felt good about myself. I increased my participation from my last class. I had fun. She helped me to modify poses so that I could get closer to reaching the correct places. If more classes were taught like Michelle's I would be going back. I have been to other Bikram studios with a softer, more accepting feel. This studio was not that for me.**If you have thick-skin, are cynical, and into hard-core push it to the max Bikram you might love this place.**

Elite studio in the area and warm welcoming to beginners and advanced yogis. Very flexible with classes all throughout the day, morning and at night. Highly recommend this studio. Instructors are not only top tier in the state but in the country! A lot if not all were trained by many OG yogisEncouraging to know they keep the heat consistently hot which many studios do not. Be ready to sweat and have fun. Amenities are clean and family environment. Check it out for yourself and you will not be disappointed!

I attended two Bikram classes with two different instructors at this studio while visiting my parents, who live in the area. The studio is very nice, the instructors knowledgeable and I received a warm welcome. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I went to a studio in SLC which was a dream studio constructed with radiant heat floors, humidity control and a HEPA air system. The instructors at that studio also had a very peaceful aura and soothing voices. So I have to reserve the 5 stars for them. I didn't even give my home studio 5 stars. I'll return to Bikram Chadds Ford every time I'm in town visiting my parents!

My husband and I will not be returning to this studio. We are hoping to go a few times a month to help with stretching. We both are beginners and wasn’t intended to win a gold medal or to compete with the class. Every time we go Leo tend to criticize and belittle us in front of the class. He is very unprofessional and rude. Hopefully they can find someone to replace him.

This really isn't a yoga studio...this is a HOME !!I've been taking yoga, pilates & barre classes here on and off for almost 5 years now; I'd like to say I'm a regular practitioner but truthfully I'm not. Balancing 2 hrs of Bikram yoga with life, work, injuries & illnesses isn't my forte (and I don't even have kids!)...But even given my struggles with consistency (and notably punctuality..) after *every* extended hiatus, whether it be weeks or months, I am **Always** welcomed back with open arms and *no judgment* whatsoever. It's such a kind, wonderful & inclusive feeling. They* don't care what you're capable of in the room; they just want you to show up. To be clear, they* want you to show up for YOU; to take 2 hours out of 24 (or 48 or 168 or whatever you can do) for yourself, to get out of your head & into your body and pay attention to what you're doing & how your body feels. When people say "be in the present moment" - this is what they mean.Other reviews mention Leo, a teacher at BYCH, and he says all the time "Be here now." Bikram is honestly hard work physically, but if you just don't fight the fact that "Okay - I'm here, it's hot, I'm doing it" then it gets a whole lot easier. This studio is not about pushing yourself beyond your ability. It's not about being the ultimate yogi. It's not about proving anything or being perfect ever. *They only want you to listen to your body and do what you're capable of that day. In fact, no one's even looking at you (I promise) and it's the same exact poses every class. If you can't do it today, you can try again tomorrow.Yes it's a workout. Yes it's hard. Yes it's long. And yes some of it looks & feels weird. Change can be uncomfortable in that way. But Bikram *will* change your body, stretch and tone your muscles, get your heart rate up, make you sweat, clean out your everything, etc. It'll also help you clear your mind, destress, sleep well for once, be selfish in a good way, learn about yourself and the abilities you didn't know you had, etc... For 2 hours, it's kind of a great deal & entirely worth it.This really isn't a review...this is a testimony. And no I'm not paid, come on now.Go to yoga & #TreatYoSelfP.S: And by "they*" I mean literally everyone who walks through the door.Oh! And be sure to mention you're new to yoga/Bikram and/or if you have any prior injuries, restrictions, joint pain, etc. to the teacher before class (or during even) and they will help you with adjustments throughout class. Sometimes it seems like everyone there already knows what they're doing, but the truth is that no one is an expert, you just get used to the routine. If you looked around, everyone is doing each pose slightly differently because *every* *body* is built slightly differently. And as you get stronger, the poses progress so it remains challenging. As far as physical activity goes, yoga is very individually adaptive so don't be afraid to ask questions!

This studio is a dream. I recently switched to bikram after 15 years of practicing vinyasa. I was very unsure of the additional heat and the repetitious class structure. In less than 4 months, I am notably stronger, I lost 10lbs I wasn’t even aiming for and I have actually regained a few moves I thought I could no longer do (#20 supta vajrasana being my personal highlight). The heat remains difficult for me but is clearly a struggle worth fighting for. I’ve tried almost every teacher, they are across the board passionate and inspirational. Zero pretension, this is a no nonsense studio with infectiously joyful instruction and impactful workouts. I’m so glad I found them and grateful to be practicing here.

I was so delighted to register for a class at this studio today due to the policy posted on the website that practice was permitted with no mask with observation of physical distancing and mask wearing throughout public places. However upon …

I decided to check out this studio, mainly because my favorite instructor, Leo, teaches here, and also because they are offering some outdoor classes. Very welcoming environment and top-notch facility.
