The Y offers so many classes now that they have expanded. The fitness center is amazing, and spinning is a hit! Staff are motivating and push you to your limit so that you get the best workout.

The Brandywine Y’s awesomeness is due (& also reflected) in it’s diversity. I’m talking about the diversity in it’s programming & also amongst the staff. The Y is a fantastic place to be.When you combine the esthetically- & functionally-pleasing, newly renovated building with the variety & the magnitude of programming, it results in the Brandywine YMCA being an unmatched fitness facility in the tri-state area. Come take a tour & judge for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

This place just keeps getting better! It's a top-notch facility with new, well-maintained equipment and fantastic classes, and even more importantly, the Brandywine YMCA offers a warm and welcoming environment! Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers who work to continuously improve this wonderful place.

Summer camp, specifically Explorer Boys, is amazing!!! So grateful to send my son to this camp for most of the summer. Ivy and her team really run a great camp. The staff are very supportive and encourage my son to try new things.

Place is decent unfortunately most ppl don't follow rules of the gym or the pools. Lifeguards are properly trained but pool rules depend on which lifeguard is on duty. If there are any excess amount of children in the pool during open swim, some adult will come into the pool expecting a specific lane (safe space, lol) for their specific swim, children are quartered to areas of the pool, which is, of course wrong during an open swim. Lap swimmers will swim directly into children knowing they are there. The communist (some) lifeguards aren't even in their 20's and avoid these issues due to confronting adults, but will blame and pick on children for swimming and... Just being children.

The atmosphere is always cheerful, the staff is most helpful in all areas of the Y. I find that everyone can find something that suits them in the form of exercise, from land classes, to machines as well as aquatic classes, swim lessons and lap swim. I especially like the Aquatic classes, that seems be for all ages.

Great institution and great people. The Brandywine YMCA provides exquisite and much needed support to the community and it's members of all ages. Kudos to the new management that's taking the branch to new heights.

Programs and activities are great at all of the DE YMCA’s but Brandywine is exceptional with its service and welcoming attitude plus I think its the most cleanest of the facilities and not because it just got updated but its been always in tip top condition.

This place really adds to my quality of life. Very up-to-date, comfortable facility with lots of good machines and high quality exercise classes with excellent instructors.
