Best gym in the DE area. No gimmicks, no filler, just great instruction and a killer team. I have never had so much fun in the sport while being surrounded by the hardest working crew in the mid Atlantic. If you want to get better and enjoy yourself, this is the spot.

Diamond State is an awesome place to train! The students and instructors are competition driven and always strive to be the best. Even if competing isn’t your thing, the family-like atmosphere makes everyone feel welcomed while learning valuable life lessons from respect, patience, mental toughness and self defense. Definitely worth trying a training session and joining the Diamond State Family!

This is where champions are born! A very diverse gym with all types of people that become your family. The owner and coaches will put their heart and soul into you. You won't find that at the other gyms where all they care about are the numbers. Give us a try and the gym offers MMA/muay thai as well.

This is the place to be if you have a competitors mindset. Not only will you learn the basics and the tools to advance yourself in BJJ, you will also be surrounded with like-minded individuals who want you to succeed as well. Without a doubt one of the best decisions I have made.

Awesome gym. Awesome place to learn with top notch instruction. We have practice partners of virtually every size, and this is the first BJJ gym I’ve ever been where being a 200lb athlete doesn’t make you an anomaly. The learning is broken down into easy steps in an open environment, where no question is a dumb question. The guys and girls who train here treat you like family, and they will help you achieve whatever goal you’re chasing - whether it’s to be a fighter, to be able to defend yourself, or just to get into better shape.

I’ve been a student here for just over a year now. The facilities are small but they’ve got everything you need. Head coach and owner Mike is great. He knows the sport inside and out and he’s an excellent instructor. Class sizes are usually pretty small so you get a decent amount of one on one time with the coaches. If you’re thinking of taking up BJJ there’s no better place to start than Diamond State BJJ

Everyone at Diamond State are very welcoming and friendly. I started attending class recently and look forward to attending training after work. If you are thinking about starting BJJ I would definitely recommend Diamond State.

Diamond State BJJ is amazing! As a female athlete, there were a lot of things that I was looking for in a gym when I first became interested in MMA. A place that I would be able to go to and train without feeling uncomfortable (especially if I was the only girl which I was majority of the time when i first started), a place that I could train at where people wouldn't take it easy on me because I was a girl, and a place that I could start at as a beginner to BJJ and not feel overwhelmed. I can honestly say that I have found all of this and more at Diamond State. It doesn't matter what level you come in at, everyone is treated the same, and given one on one time with the instructors of the kickboxing class, and the BJJ classes.
