I like the aqua yoga class is nice and relaxing and the fitquest with Heather Morris was excellent. She made me work out like it was not tomorrow and like I never did before and thought I couldn't do it.

Facilities are excellently maintained, including weight room, locker rooms, and small gyms. Staff is friendly and make sure every visit is pleasant. Above all, YMCA offers a lot of fitness options at an excellent price.

The child care makes it very easy to work out and they always treat my child with respect and with care. The facility is clean and has enough machines available so I rarely have a wait. The classes are also really fun and always start and end on time.

Average customer service with yearly rising membership fees. Overall its a good starting point for getting kids into sports. I just don't think you are getting your full money's worth at times.

the instructor helped me get to know different exercise machines and explain how to work each one of them. She was very patient and professional in helping me not to do more than what I could tolerate as a 86 years old beginner.Everyone of the staff was pleasant and helpful.

The primary reason for my continued membership at the Delaware YMCA is the ability to take my son Ben, who has Autism, for a swim every Sunday afternoon all year long. It's one of the highlights of his week, and certainly of mine, too. He can be extremely difficult to work with and the YMCA community is full of understanding and encouraging people who help me get through what's often a 5-6 hour long process just to swim 30-40 lengths with Ben. Spending an hour waiting on Ben in the men's room, another hour waiting at the water fountain, and again in the shower can seem like an eternity, but a kind word from some YMCA acquaintance can go a very long way to restoring my patience and making the afternoon less of an ordeal. If not for the pool, it's likely that I'd opt for a much lower cost option like Retro or LA Fitness.
