I love Donna Gardner's Gentle Yoga Class. And Monday Meditation as well. There is never a day when I don't feel immensely better after the class than when I began

Since I've lived in Wilmington (10+ years) I've practiced yoga in 3 different yoga studios and two gyms. In fact, WYC was the first place I joined in Wilmington. I left to try other things, styles and places and have returned. I've been back for about 6 months now and I'm about to renew my class card (today actually). Their studio is warm and inviting and they have showers. Now for the good part, the instructors and classes. There's ALWAYS a class of some sort going on and most of them (with the exception of 1 or 2) are all levels. You can see the schedule on the MINDBODY app. They update changes to their schedule (including subs) really well. I love all the instructors but the ones that stick out in my mind are Noelle, Liana, Frances, Heather and JJ. Heather is hardcore so if you need a super challenge take one of her classes. I have to be in the mood. She's completely lovely, don't get me wrong. There are so many workshops and training opportunities at Wilmington Yoga Center. Advanced yogis who want to deepen their practice or newbies that want to take alignment/posture workshops are so welcome. There is also an annual retreat to Home of Hope Orphanage in Kerala, India if you're into service as well. WYC is not preachy in the least. So, if all you're interested in is a good stretch, like me, you won't feel pressured to buy their merch or join their workshops or attend their retreat. If you're from out of town and won't be signing up, you can always try a pay-what-you-can class.

WYC is The Bomb! The Instructors are educated, serious yet fun, friendly, and deliver top notch yoga programming. Class descriptions are perfect too. Don't go into a power core class expecting not to sweat. They are sincere about giving back too. The facility is beautiful and welcoming. Love this place!

Last week I had the best yoga class that I've had in my Yoga life at Wilmington Yoga! And, I have been involved with yoga since 1975 -- I came out of the afternoon Kunga class so engaged and happy, thank you Wilmington Yoga.

I absolutely LOVE the Wilmington Yoga Center!!! The facility is gorgeous and so peaceful; the perfect atmosphere for yoga practice. The instructors are so friendly and knowledgable and are wondeful about making everyone feel welcome regardless of level of experience. My most favorite thing about the Wilmington Yoga Center is the Kunga theme and learning how to take the ideas and practices learned in classes off the mat and apply them to the world around us; helping to support all those around us, in any manner we can. Namaste!

I have been to a handful of studios around the country, and can confidently say that this place really does have a special energy, topped off with an awesome staff who really make you feel welcome. I'm so grateful for this studio and the people who work here. If you are considering yoga studios in Wilmington, you have no need to look any further. This is the place!

I love the Wilmington Yoga Center. There are lots of classes offered 7 days a week so it is easy to find one that fits into any day's schedule. There are classes for all levels of expertise. I like the emphasis on "non harming" and focusing on only what your body needs on any specific day. The teachers don't push you to do more than you can safely do. I've been a member for a year now, and all my aches and pains are gone. I feel more fit, more flexible, stronger and more balanced than I have ever felt in my life.

I have been going to WYC for several years now. I love the variety of classes and the calming environment. Their Kunga service program is awesome and I love knowing I am helping their cause just by taking a class. I do wish they would switch up the 5:45 time slot with basic/power flow classes instead of Hot 5Elements all the time. Otherwise, love it here!
