I really like this YMCA. The staff there is super friendly and helpful, and I've felt like the ones I've interacted with regularly (especially Cierra!) really care about you reaching your fitness goals and having good workouts. When you sign up, you get a few sessions of training with a wellness coach where they ask you your goals and help you make a workout. I joined in June and told my coach, Cierra, that I wanted to be able to do an unassisted pull up. In November, I finally achieved it, just by doing the workouts 1-2 times a week that she suggested when I joined, and I've been wanting to be able to do pull ups for years! I was really happy about that.As far as the facilities, I also like that the pool and saunas are available and well maintained. I've enjoyed all the classes I've been to, and the greenery outside the Y and closeness to Hanes Park is nice for getting out and running on the track.Last but not least, they recently added some really nice high tables with power outlets underneath that I love studying at. I'm a grad student, and studying is my primary activity in life haha, and my daily routines usually involve studying at the nice tables in the main area all day and enjoying the company and coffee, then going to do reps in the workout areas or an exercise class as study breaks. The only thing the Y is missing is food, but I understand why, because if they did have food, I would never leave :)

Awesome, classic YMCA style location with locker room trifecta including massive whirlpool (that could use LESS chlorine please) and even a small separate gym. LOVE this location and pray 🙏🏼 it's NEVER renovated. A+ …

Used the parkinglot for a group run (part of the Mistletoe 1/2 Marathon course). Was easy to find and *very* popular first thing in the morning.
