Great staff, great facilities, but the address falls under a dictator of a mayor's jurisdiction.

The only thing better than the location of this YMCA is the wonderful people who work there. Even though they were doing remodeling, the place was clean and inviting!

We like this gym, you can workout and stuff like that. You know for fitness health..... cardio and weight training are good here and that's a fact.

Friendly staff and have been attending this Y since 1978; from time to time there are issues. But now, the men's locker room on weekends is the dirtiest recreational facility I have attended in my 60+ year life. The steam room on weekends is ALWAYS dirty; it should be reported to the health department. The past few weeks you could write your name in the dirt on the floor in the steam room. These conditions are reported daily by members to the staff but hardly ever addressed. I don't feel bad about making this statement publicly in that the dozens of reports to the staff aren't getting results.

As a workout facility, it is lackluster. Exercise equipment is adequate, though more difficult to utilize during busy hours. Air conditioning in the upstairs cardio area is a slight issue, the wi-fi is shaky and unreliable in some places, the music is far too loud and difficult to drown out with even the best noise-canceling earbuds. The men's wet area has improved now that the sauna has been fixed but phone usage in the locker room/wet areas goes unaddressed even though it is prohibited and I have witnessed individuals taking selfies too often for comfort. The pool is decent though often busy especially during the week. I understand that operating a non-profit facility comes with some difficulty on the part of staff and employees, but some things are fixable and shouldn't go unaddressed.

Really, really disappointed with This YMCA. I signed up for the Y strictly for the pool/swim lanes. It's Saturday morning so I decided to see If I could get in an hour swim for the day. That DID not happen. I sat and waited for over an HOUR for a swim lane to become open. It never happened. So I ended up leaving. You guys should definitely have reversations for swim lanes on Saturday. Other people want to use the lanes and it's unfair that people like myself don't have a chance. Then I went to speak to the lifeguard and ask if there's a time limit and he was NOWHERE to be found. Sat back down waiting and he NEVER came back. Awful, awful, awful. Thinking about canceling my membership.
